My WFC isn't password protected. It's unlocked. Mandatory to have the WFC GUI in the tray or it should show up even if the GUI is not in the tray but unlocked and secured rules is enabled? Latest build 17 : Activation img: Note: This toolbox does not modify the exe or any IDM files. What some changes? - minor changes in the code. - converted the batch script to vb.net as toolbox - improved in resetting and activation scheme, now you can run the toolbox anywhere you like ( C,D,USB) - added some ???? ****den retail keys. NOTES for instruction: IDM TOOLBOX 1.7a 2017 -------------------------------- All credits intact Disclosure: - for personal / educational use only Requirements: - Net 4.5 Windows: 7/8.1/10 About the Toolbox: 1. OK button - Cleans and Registers the current registration details. 2. Activate button - Activates IDM and blocks program from calling home - Needs to disable all patches, firewall blocks at system/app level prior to applying 3. Reset button - Only use this if you have successfully activate the program in reinstallation or update using this toolbox How to ? - before using the toolbox , remove any patches or firewall blocks - do reset all settings back to default. A. Full Clean Install 1. Install IDM online/offline. If ask to restart ( Cancel ) 2. Open the program and download a sample file ( e.g. an update or full installer). Internet connection must be on. 3. Close IDM from task when download file is completed. 4. Open the toolbox in admin mode ( needs adminstrator access) 5. Open the program. 2.1 - If encountered with counterfeit key and unable to open IDM - Look for MDATA in registry depending on which system you have ( x64/x86) and remove them. - Computer\HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Classes\WOW6432Node\CLSID\{6DDF00DB-1234-46EC-8356-27E7B2051192} - for x64 - Computer\HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Classes\CLSID\{6DDF00DB-1234-46EC-8356-27E7B2051192} - for x86 - If encountered with fake key nagging, close and ignore it till you open the main idm dialog. 2.2 Re-open IDM back and download a sample file ( e.g. an update or full installer). Internet connection must be on. 3. Close IDM from task when download file is completed. 4. Open the toolbox in admin mode ( needs adminstrator access) 5. In the toolbox: Enter registration details you want 6. Click once OK button 7. Click Activate button 8. Done C.
