AlexCross
Promotional keys were blocked  As of now enable it? I do not have the key offline Try using Farstone RestoreIT, it's similar to RollBack, but it doesn't have as much options as RollBack has.I have it installed for some days and here is my review:Pro (What I see from my PC)Fast snapshot creation, 3-5 sec.Fast snapshot loading 5-20 sec.It supports SSDsUser-friendly ( you do not have too many options, is more like 1 click thing)It can make automatic snapshots everytime a system file is modified, or when a new program is installed.( you can unckeck this if you do not want)It can load before Windows. It doesn't eat much space: W8+all updates +office+visio+project+all their updates=2.5gbSupports W8.1You can mount your snapshots.Cons.You can't merge/update snapshots. The only way that I found out that can do the thing is to uncheck from Main Console, settings, enable RestoreIT functions. This will delete all snapshots, you can defrag your drive and check it again for "updating" the snapshot.(Creating a new snapshot). You cannot move from a snapshot to another, if you go back in time it will delete all the snapshots that were made after that point in time. ns870152
if you go back in time it will delete all the snapshots that were made after that point in time. That's why I don't use it
uffbros
It is not compatible if you have a SSD drive either. Even thou they say it is it has been proven that TRIM doesn't work under RollbackRx.

AlexCross
I'm asking because I did a restore in W8.1, all went fine, but for no reason the desktop freezes from time to time, thing that didn't happen before, Task manager do not respond etc. I don't know if it's a bug or not, (it does not have anything to do with RB)but when I close an app by throwing it "under the desktop",it is still shown as running in task manager, but it doesn;t appear in the left side of the desktop.
