no need for acronis if you're using rollback and no need of rollback if you're using acronis.

:nono: Backup images are indispensable for RollBack Rx users, but i prefer Image for Windows :)

RollBack Rx is just for convenience of ultra-fast snapshots and restores :D

I suppose you need his express permission before making a critical post, here - about the capability (or impotency) of RollBack Rx.

Only if you unninstall Rbrx, defrag, reinstall. My recommandation, switch to Ax64 TIme Machine, RBrx is unreliable in this period, since Windows 8.1 this program fail to work properly for many users.

RollBack was the same way years back even it messed up my defrag in xp and after so long it started messing up my computer . It also messed up my friends computer who was using windows 7 at the time. One heck of a price to pay to use a glorified windows restore . Its not changed a bit since back when SnD 1st keygened it. I dont recommend no one using this software .

you have no clue what you're talking about. you really shouldn't comment unless you do know that you're talking about. first it's the windows updates that broke the one guys system NOT rollback rx. second rollback rx is system restore on steroids. sysyem restore only deals with system files and nothing else. rollback handles all files on the drive(s) you rollback monitoring. thrid with rollback you can choose if you want to exclude specific files and folders from the rollback process. if you're friends and your comp were messed up the two of you messed something up cause you didn't know what you were doing.

:uhuh: RollBack Rx is awesome, but it doesn't help when there is HDD failure or Snapshots getting corrupted or when MBR is disturbed by malware or other programs :tooth:

So it is good to have backup images :D:

i'm not bothering with you article cause having both programs on the same system is overkill. it's like running both bitdefender internet security and eset total security, redundant and unnecessary.

there was no reason to post this.

Try saying that to the Admin of RollBack Rx - he not only made that candid post at their official RollBack Rx forum (he also kept that post sticky.) tx38TOr.gif

Edit:--

Lemme know if you would want some incriminating links to add insult to injury.

I have a clue what I'm talking about when I used this program in 2010 it messed up my natural defrag state it fools with the boot sector of your computer witch you could easy see using programs like Disk Keeper .

Here it is 2014 and people are saying the same thing.

There's nothing to know what your doing about this program a computer Illiterate person could use it you install it and make restores and go back and forth .

Backup Windows using RollBack Rx - and then,

backup Windows and RollBack Rx using Acronis. tx38TOr.gif

no need for acronis if you're using rollback and no need of rollback if you're using acronis.

Lemme me put it in a mathematical perspective - as per none other than the Administrator of RollBack Rx at their official forum:--

(Windows) + (RollBack Rx) + (Windows Update 1) = (Vanishing Windows)

At lest using acronis you can always get your computer back to its previous state but Rollback when i tested it before restores sometime got corrupted .Just like Windows Restore does . Therefore why should I mess up my defrag and my boot sector for a program that dont even work 100% of the time.
