dcs18
ZoneAlarm free is already FPed.That's exactly the problem - most folks here like to settle for second best. :dunno:The other things that you said, only another SOS can understand :rofl:No, please - don't be tactful (nag both of them - I'll be watching.)

rudrax
@dcs18, 8.1.1 comes as a update-only part, the SP2 of windows 8. Then where is the SP1 update-only part?
dcs18
That's already been answered.
rudrax
No that's not the answer.Update-only - means the extra update part except the OS.

rudrax
You Peepz are terribly confused. :doh:Now, you make us confused :angry:Windows 8.1 = Windows 8 + SP1I want the SP1 only from the equation.
dcs18
That's available - you can try searching for it (I thought you already were running the 8.1. ;)
rudrax
That's available - you can try searching for it (I thought you already were running the 8.1. ;)Hell no.By far, I'm only being able to find that in windows store. Outside the store, I only get the full fledged windows 8.1 ISO. So need your help.
dcs18
That one was not deployed via Windows Update - the update from the Store screwed up for most Users.I'd personally opt for a full & clean install from the 8.1 Update ISO.
rudrax
Can't you extract the update's link(s) from the fcuking store? The 8.1.1 ISO is a giant monster. Will take 3 moths for me to download.
dcs18
So, how's the ZoneAlarm experience getting along?
rudrax
Nice.....so far.
rudrax
Not nice now. I strongly doubt that ZoneAlarm is creating the bug for which after clicking on a download link, IDM starts multiple download for the same file. Today I tried downloading SystemXplorer and IDM started 6 download pop up window for the same download.I'm also observing ZoneAlarm getting a hard on my internet connection as it keeps ticking the data counter after connecting the dial-up. This happens in random though.
dcs18
ZoneAlarm is a LSP based firewall and I can now recall that it always had an issue with IDM (which is LSP based, too.)You can try playing with the ZoneAlarm settings, to resolve the issue.
