dor
Well, the latest release I'd tried out was B-effect 2.3.2 (this was way back.) I discontinued it after it stopped working, then. However, that was the time when most of the fixes (except NodLogin & NodEnabler) had stopped working for signature definition updates. Can't confirm whether B-effect works now since I have a licensed 2.7.39 and fix my office NOD32 with NodLogin.Good, nice to hear that! I have installed nod32 2.7.39 fixed with NOD32 FiX 2.2.3 by B-effect on my friend's PC just one week and 1/2 ago and it worked like a charms. It found some problems the past summer when all evals update servers were down and similar fixes (ESS V3: temdono, marsufix etc) had to be executed more times. :coolwink: Regards. mars_army
Hi everyone, I figure you guys would know more than anyone about ESS so here is my issue:Using ESS 3.0.667.0 with MarsuFix 2.5It has worked fine before, but currently the trail is counting down (currently on 24 days) AND the program can't update. It gives me the message "bad link to update server".using Vista Ultimate x64Any help is greatly appreciated =)

HATE9X
nodlogin has r0x0r3d nicely for a few months on my system(s), but there has lately been many "soon-ending" licenses which make the icon orange and ESS bitch like "it's gonna end ffs, renew bla bla".. ( )so i was wondering whether the trial fixes (aka -infinite 30day- aka marsufix aka box4ever) work nicely again?
shought
I'm still a happy user of Marsufix, hasn't failed me ever since the update servers started working properly again.

ugatme
Been using nodenabler a few months now and nary a hic-cup. Once the expiration date disappeared for a day but I don't think it was nodenablers fault since I checked and I had the same username when it reappeared. It also seem some ppl have problem with NodEnabler (can't connect).nodlogin does it job well, but the thing is it gets U/P (username & password) with the same expiry date as the previous U/P. ugatme
Can dl from nsane main page. Just install and save settings. Went like a charm. If using nodenabler or nodlogin just give it a few minutes, it kicks in.

Bizarre™
The best combination in my opinion is ESET + COMODO Why?ESET provides the best AV protection [look here: http://www.av-comparatives.org/seiten/comparatives.html]COMODO provides the best HIPS + it's free
Donaldo
Check out the results at AV Comparatives - I neither subscribe/agree/disagree/ to the views expressed by them nor do I advocate the same to anyone else:-
shought
You should add the False positives chart as well... Which clearly shows, if I recall correctly, that ESET has less than Avira. Also ESET is much more/better configurable than Avira.
