Stupid question but ESET isn't allowing me to execute Rar files. Where do I add the exception to allow them? As I can't seem to locate it Thanks in advance

Eset won't let me execute Tnod which I downloaded directly from here or any other Rar files as well

Temporarily disable protection, go to your quarantine, restore the TNOD file, and add it to your exclusions list. Then enable your protection.

Over the last couple of days, Eset has changed something because when I use TNod, it puts in a new username and password, but when Eset updates, the expiration date resets to less than 30 days. Anyone know what's going on? TNod has been working flawlessly for months. I think Eset has caught on and changed something.

That seems to have worked

Thank you so much

I've been using box mara fix on my eset for years but just recently it's been asking for username and password. All I did was remove and reapply the fix for it to work again but it's kind of a hassle fixing and unfixing everytime. Is there a way around this?

i tried using TNOD as advised but eset won't exclude the file. how should i run TNOD?

1) Temporary disable real time protection in nod32

2) Install TNOD

3) Add to scan exclusions (so nod32 will not delete it) the TNOD folder (from Program Files) here :

4) Add to Protocol Filtering exclusions the `TNOD.exe` (so TNOD will can enter to the sites with new licenses - otherwise , all are blocked by ESET) here :

5) Now you can re-enable nod32`s protection .

Enjoy B)

The way around this in version 4 was to add an update server to the update list. I don't know if the same server applies to v5 or if you can edit the update list for that matter.

I had been having issues with it over the last couple of days where it wouldn't insert a correct license. I had setup it up the exact way raf explained in his post and images

Fortunately, It's appears to be working again

Well, when I downloaded a "virus" to my VM, the ESET on my computer removed the file. I'm assuming that's what it means when I find the file in the quarantine.
