What part did you mess-up? LOL.. the config.. or Ranmeter? or what...

Ah well. NP. Load another theme. I think I'll try Rainmeter later. I'm understanding some of it.

I forgot to mention that some of the themes hat will get installed.. will not be correctly altered.. and if you look in the first line or two of the theme.. you will see that t can point to another profile ( like the guy that made it ) .. or it can even point to other locations which are incorrect for your system.. so if you get one that doesn't work and you have your skins in the 'Rainmeter > Skins folder then you should check the theme.. and adjust it so it loads everything as it should..

Was reminded of that just now cleaning some old ones out of my Theme Manager..

There is a Program to change your StartOrb.. and a Token StartOrb if you want I can find it.. The Program is called Windows Start Button Change should be easy enough to find.. and the StartOrb I found on Deviantart... several in both black and the grey like the icons you have..

Okay so I finally got the link for my Rainmeter Collection...

File Name: Rainmeter11.02.10.7z

Being Revamped and Updated

Problems that can come about when adding this..

1. When its decompressed will be about 136 MB on disk..

2. Fonts which are indicated within some of the skins which had to be installed separately will not be included.. so this notation will have to be substituted or you can do a search and download the font online.. otherwise a default font will be used..( takes a little away from the effect... usable and cn still be modified for your own use.. )

3. Directories will have to be changed for your personal files and folders ( which is normal form of rote.. for skins )

4. I do not have ALL of the skins themes.. and some did not come with them..but I did included the ones I have. You can add those and alter the directory locations for your account and system. XP version will differ even in the location of the Theme Directory when compared to Vista and Windows 7..

5. I would recommend renaming your current 'Skins' directory to 'SkinsOriginal' or something while checking out these skins. That way you can delete or remove those which you do not want.. and all of your skins will not get lost nor overwritten.. can be integrated however )

6. For any inquiries about some parts of the skins.. I recommend searching three places for the origination. Deviantart.com, Customize.org, and Rainmeter.net Forums.. Screenshots for intended layout and usage should be shown for most skins and configurations.. just use the kin name..

7. IF you find something broken or jacked-up looking.. it very well could be something I didn't finish.. so you might want to look for the original.. too many over too long to remember..

I did not include but do recommend taking a look at the Gaia10 Suite. It includes and is not limited to Rainmeter Skins, Styles, Themes, Litestep.... I did not include it as it is sort of better seen all inclusive.. Very light for those of you who don't like dark skins.. Many of these are part of a suite.. so it may not hurt to look around if you like something in the package.. Also, Omnimo...

The package above of my shared collection, ranges from Minimalist Design, to PC Gamer ( some that I though were cool including Some of the Helmet HUD skins.. ) and several others... If you doubt these skins are complete you can do a search and look for the original packages and installers.. I have deleted some skins as they do not apply to my needs.. such as iTunes, and Windows Media Player Control and support... I use Winamp.. WMP12, MPC-HC.. mostly and usually do not use a skin specifically for them.. Also in this package are skins that will range from simple clocks... to all out UI replacement.. ( almost...LOL )

There are couple of AutotIt! written programs that have been included by the authors.. the range from Player Control to Notepad 'ToDo List' usages.. and many of these set off Protection/AV alerts.. as many of you know.. If you choose to remove them then be aware that some features of the skin they came from may not function as designed.

IF you like these skins, please say so on the original artist page, or submission... All works are sole credit to and of the original authors only...

Debating on rather to share my LiteStep Collection next..

Does anyone here use LiteStep? Thinking of activating it on my LUA and getting some shots to post up... Have my Theme Collection ready to share as well.. Curious if any interest exists..

@DKT27: I saw your old desktop just now and for a moment there I thought you intentionally did that as a joke (no offense intended). :D It's good that you started cleaning-up your desktop. I also thought that someone made a Windows 7 skin to make it look like Windows 3.1 (if you've seen 'ye olde Windows 3.1).

Cheers and good luck!

LOL. I can't believe I'm seeing that. :P

As for my desktop, well, it's been messed up from Windows 98 days. I aways liked every useful item (url shortcuts in this case), to be tip of my fingers. I simply ain't liking the new open folder to check out the link for two reasons, it takes atleast a second more and I tend to forget things.

@DKT I like how you cleaned up, i cleaned mine up by turning off desktop shortcuts and installed rainmeter as much as i loved using it, it caused issues with my other hardware/software for some reason :| but i'm not too bothered lol
