it was using a different ip tell after i rebooted then I reproduced your problem and blocked the 23rd ip the way dns works when a site gets new ip once dns updates is when it goes live.

Bad news though it means there trying kill ip block and ones that dont have that ip added in time will need to clean the blacklist out of there system . And I didn't fall for im still using trial not registered I figured something was up with all those patches dieing lol

Yes it's very bad news for us. The soft is becoming difficult to crack. Maybe using a trial reset will be the the best solution in the futur.

Otherwise thanks everyone for the help :)

Just using a proxy in IDM overrides firewall blocks and it can check and blacklist you

It can be problematic because it blacklist your registry I figured this out the hard way don't put proxies in program .

So them adding new ips will have the same effect .

When ever they make any free download manger that will resume from all Debirders like IDM does , i would switch to them ..Last I tested none of them could but a very old version IDM still could, also some sites with IDM give a lot connections and others will only give one. . :P

Downside to IDM it don't work for Mega but JDownloader or MegaDownloader does. :)

You have to set host to read only , But host block don't really work anymore certain ips even though the url will be blocked in your browser the actual ip want be blocked in idm or your browser. ;)

I managed to prevent IDM interfering with the hosts file with this (despite it calling itself Secure Folders) it will set files\folders to Hide, to lock, set read-only and no-execution protection...Now I have set the hosts to "read only" all levels including system rights are blocked and that prevents IDM using system rights....In short although I don't use the ip method I get the "unable to connect" etc warning because its hosts blocked :)

Useful anyway...

I should add that I noticed IDM was altering the hosts files for example!

127.0.0.1 www.secure.registeridm.com would be changed to : *27.0.0.1 www.secure.registeridm.com as was most of the other relevant(?) IDM hosts.
