The firewall method is working for the others...it was using a different ip tell after i rebooted then I reproduced your problem and blocked the 23rd ip the way dns works when a site gets new ip once dns updates is when it goes live. Maybe using a trial reset will be the the best solution in the futur.Just using a proxy in IDM overrides firewall blocks and it can check and blacklist youIt can be problematic because it blacklist your registry I figured this out the hard way don't put proxies in program .So them adding new ips will have the same effect . clubhouse Posted April 7, 2015 Share Posted April 7, 2015 I managed to prevent IDM interfering with the hosts file with this (despite it calling itself Secure Folders) it will set files\folders to Hide, to lock, set read-only and no-execution protection...Now I have set the hosts to "read only" all levels including system rights are blocked and that prevents IDM using system rights....In short although I don't use the ip method I get the "unable to connect" etc warning because its hosts blocked :)http://www.securefoldersfree.com/Useful anyway...
