Ok ,dcs18, will try this with my boot-cd , but dont think its gonna work coz this item (T&D) has to be installed on your system with service(s) and Secure zone.......

If it does, will uninstall Acronis totally and use boot-cd for T&D and backups !

Yes. You are right dcs18, but only Secure Zone!

So after trying; Acronis Boot-CD 2014, only Secure Zone management,NO T&D !

Acronis Boot-CD 2015, NOTHING FOR T&D !

Acronis Boot-CD 2016 (beta), not known so far( ??)

Conclusion; you still have to install the whole program on your PC,if you want to use T&D, the Boot-CD only manages the Secure Zone !

Can we manage T&D in the 2016-Boot-Cd ??

You are making everybody very happy,dcs18, you mean; no bloated installation of Acronis , only using the Boot-CD will do the job, for T&D and backups !!

How do you know, have you seen the Boot-CD of Acronis 2016, can you really install the T&D-app with this CD , if so ; next question ( off course ), how to get this Boot-CD of Acronis 2016 ??

Pete 12, the BootCD has always been having all of that — I mean about it containing all the desirable Acronis features. Hence, have also felt puzzled about folks insisting on using the installation instead of a BootCD.

The best way is, for at least one individual to install Acronis 2016 and then create the BootCD and upload the ISO for everyone else to download.

I see, have to try this project, but ,on the other hand, dont want to mess up my wonderfull, good running Win7 !

Besides have to repair /backup with....Acronis,will this beta-2016 use my 2014-Acronis-backups for repairing ??!

Maybe will find another ( safer) way to get this ISO......

Why not ? All have .tib extension and it is supposing that the 2015 is a better version which can restore previous backups.

If you want to restore a backup made it with 2015 version with a 2010 version e.g , there could be some issues, but conversely I do not think so......

This works for me.

1. Insert you USB Drive
2. Download and run YUMI (http://www.pendrivelinux.com/yumi-multiboot-usb-creator/) - it will do ALL the formatting on the USB drive, install Bootloader etc.
3. Check "Format x:\ Drive (Erase Content)?" if you need to
4. Scroll to the bottom and select "Try an Unlisted ISO (GRUB)"
5. Browse and load your Acronis.iso and click on "Create".

Ok I downloaded the Boot CD .iso. I want to use this via USB. I tried Rufus and it says it doesn't support this. Yumi didn't have a selection either for Acronis. How are you folks making a USB Boot device from this CD.iso?

All those programs will make an USB image only from a WinPE based Acronis ISO.

The Acronis ISO images posted out here are all Linux based - you can try XBOOT.

Just burned the Boot-CD on Cd ,but could not start up with it !!!

Downloaded this ISO-file , burned it on CD with Nero.

The Boot-CD did not start after reboot, what went wrong ????

When you burn it, burn it as a image, not as common data. In nero express, there is an option to burn an image file. use that option and it will work.

So I did already before, and burned this downloaded ISO with Nero as a bootable image.............

So I did, Cd started this time with; "Acronis recovery starting......." and nothing happens !

Very strange, coz when inserting Acronis Boot-CD 2014 the programs starts up normally and you can make your backup or restore from an existing backup !

OK Crazycanuk , you were right indeed !!

Used another CD ,burned the ISO with Nero, started CD after reboot and.....program started fine , could use mouse also !

Will try other CD, if not goes fine first time......

Yes,dcs18, just tried Acronis 2015 Boot-CD , but did not discover much improvements ,compared with the 2014-version......

Very curious how 2016-version will do !

btw; could someone,please, re-upload the latest Nova-activator for ATI 2015 ?

( can not find a working link to this file anymore !)

hmm...the boot-cd iso created from acronis trueimage - rescue media builder 2016 beta (activated) is about 494 MB (518,258,688 bytes). You can activate the beta version offline with a key then create your own boot iso.

anyway.

I'll try to upload the boot iso later....if somebody does not have it yet for this 2016 beta version.

I created a boot USB drive with the 2015 Boot CD download furnished in a previous post. I never had True Image installed. I was never asked for a key and I have created a backup image? How are you folks needing a key or activation? I don't get it.
