A warm hi to dcs18 and active guys here!

I'm gonna remove those entries from the context menu. Have already tried "ShellExView" and "Windows 8 Manager" utilites but strangely they are not found at all. Any idea dudes?

They must be somewhere in the registry. Don't know where but search for main ACDSee folder in the registry and look for relative terms like ShellEx, context etc. under it and delete the entries. Please backup the entries before you delete just to be safe in case anything goes wrong.

There are hundreds entries with that factor in the registry and finding the right cases in this way are really very much time consuming!

Hello J4NY4R . . . . . have never had the occasion to use ACDSee — however, you should be able to find your answer at the following registry key:—

[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Classes\.ACDC]

It's not the key related to those context menu entries.

I found ShellMenuView program useful for this situation. Those entries are format related, for example for disabling just Develop with ACDSee Ultimate 9 entry, one must disable 69 cases!

Which script software you used to create this???

Can you suggest which ones you prefer using

Nothing special, it's just a plain text, simply used the built-in Windows text editor for my script,

It depends on the needs of each person, each person needs is different.

For me, the built-in Windows text editor is good enough, I don't need special script software.

If you want a more powerful text editor, you can use Notepad++

Front page this!!!!

Please don't !

I think it's only working on a clean system

Thanks anyway

INFO (important)

1. If IDM still pop up the notification (Fake serial/Serial Blacklisted), try re-install IDM then run the bat file again.

2. I just re-uploaded the bat file (with a new serial inside the script). Tested on my stubborn "polluted" laptop and it worked ! :dance2:

Not working on Windows 10 Enterprise LTSB x64 :(
Too generic a statement elaborate with more details. Wl2LIwk.gif
I tried as directed but I found no option regarding windows update showing up in control panel.

Hey, that little tip makes no promise to bring the Windows Update option to the Control Panel. Z4s1GY7.gif

It promises to bring back only the following option (into the Windows Update drop-down menu — not Control Panel) which Microsoft revoked, on Windows 10:—

Never check for updates.

Another problem :wtf:

The built in taskbar items (start button and windows related notification area icons) in the taskbar are not responding to the left-mouse button.

Other 3rd party items in the taskbar are responding to the left button but not the start button and other microsoft items in the taskbar. Right-button is working fine though.

Internet Download Manager Addon is not compatible with FireFox 43 Beta.

Anyone have a fix?

The IDM add-on is working fine here on my Firefox 43 Beta 1.

In case you are a User of Classic Theme Restorer (CTR) — you can be rid of the incompatible add-on notification by using the following tweak in your about:config:—

("extensions.classicthemerestorer.am_nowarning", true);

For more about:config tweaks on Classic Theme Restorer (CTR), refer to post # 3645.

Check for updates but let me choose whether to download and instal them.

Can you try applying that option (option # 3) through your Group Policy — do let me know how it goes after a reboot.

Tried it. No changes. Updates are still set to Automatic (recommended)

Edit: It worked after second restart
