Bleach’s author Tite Kubo is apparently set on keeping Bleach going for at least another 10 years, remarking that it is only halfway through. Kubo’s remarks were reported by 2ch-frequenting attendees of the recently held Jump Festa, where he took the stage to talk about his creation:“It’s about halfway through the story at the moment. [...] At the very least, I’ll be doing it for another 10 years.” Another version has him being asked “So will you be keeping it going for the next 30 years?” to which he responds “I think I’d like to make it a bit shorter than that,” with the other speaker quipping that “It should be continuing for at least another 10 years!” Both accounts agree on him saying he is about half done however, which for a 10-year-old title would rather suggest another 10 years to go. Marik Posted December 27, 2010 Share Posted December 27, 2010 After taking my sweet time coloring this page for the past 2 months doing the girls and bushes (yes, that's how much it took me to color it due to by making one line, then exiting PS cause the project was so boring, it would put me to sleep)......I spent 5 more hours to do the walls and windows to make them blend in the with already existing bg guess what happens?....a f*****g BSOD!....and the file that was supposed to be saved, was corrupted..... The suspect utterance was made on the site of “ROOKiEZ is PUNK’D,” the band responsible for the anime’s latest ED song: “I think our tune is perfect for the final season’s climax – please check it out!” This would suggest an April end to the anime. The original remark was quickly amended to something uninteresting (suggesting it was unauthorised and of sufficient importance to warrant swift removal, but of course not confirming it was actually true), although not before the fires of speculation were lit online. With the anime apparently still maintaining its popularity and the author of the original having hinted the manga will continue at least until the end of the universe, it hard for fans to know what to make of the remarks. Not that anyone would want another 10yrs of FILLERS!!!! :dunno:the news I posted were referring to the anime only, and not the manga :P anyways the news turned out to be false as Studio Pierot denied such statements, saying that they're nothing but bs Morita Yosuke, the assistant recording director of Bleach anime, denied the rumor and said "The airing schedule has been fixed far in advance and it won't be ended soon."
