Latest PureFix 2.01 for ESET 5 : Already tried, in safe mode 1st, because had ESS installed and works, except the EXTRAS --» "Clean UP"--» didn`t use and "Boot in safe mode"--» Failed. No problem with the updates of Virus signature database --» 36673 Kbs. ------------------------------------------------------------- Directly ( no safe mode, no reboot ) --» Windows 1st the fix, then ESS 5.0.93.0 ( Eng.):- The "Clean up" extra--» worked; The "safe mode"--- obviously didn`t use. Fix installed, then ESS and received automatically the updates of virus signature database without asking for it, just like that ! Will do install info tomorrow - too tired now :( You can install like in safe mode like in the beta (safest), or monitor the install like in 1.52 (may have probs with web protection this way though). Additional tools added - clean out old reg keys, auto boot to safe mode. Compatibilty with v4 should be fixed. It has been a huge overhaul so let me know if anything acts weird hey Purple...just I can confirm than I am instal the monitor like in 1.52 whit no single problem when is eset finish the instaling is start automatic whit update whitout restart...thats it...your Masterwork is finish.....BIG THANKS Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
NMX Posted September 17, 2011 Share Posted September 17, 2011 God Bless U PurpleBeanZ You R the Man :king: I test it and it worked ! monitor Installation is more better than restart in safe modei tried also the extra buttons and its works too ! i want to install ESET Unattended with the fixand i wish that you add some Feature to it can you make a switch to the fix that make it silent ! = without any gui. i need it soo much if that is so hard then can you:1- make the fix close it self after finish2- a HotKey that enable the fix when i press it instead of clicked by mouse. niharjhatn Posted September 17, 2011 Share Posted September 17, 2011 Hey guys...given that some people have posted some bugs with the current version of eset 5, I have stayed with the latest version of 4.2My question is if I DO switch to eset 5, apply purplebeanz's purefix, will the program update its version (i.e. will it automatically update to 5.1/5.2 etc)?Looking to shed some light on this, otherwise might wait with 4.2 for now until the bugs get ironed out. HX1 Posted September 17, 2011 Share Posted September 17, 2011 I have seen some of the modules update in the past.. but the actual version of ESET will not.. you have to export settings, run the uninstall, and clean and then reinstall .. import settings..
