I get an error saying something along the lines of error downloading update file, I will upload screenshot of actual error when it occurs again. Anybody have this issue or know how to remedy it? I rather like the new version of ESET and I desperately do not want to go back to my KIS12 license (abandoned 200 days left!) Thanks Guys same here with automatic update (just noticed). maybe a temporary issue... manual update works... auto update is working fine here, so i'd say it's a temp issue confirmed. sorry for the premature conclusion. zadar023 Posted September 16, 2011 Share Posted September 16, 2011 The problem with Protocol filtering and disappearing of Web and email clients is caused by Eset SS instability and not by fix .I install eset , activate trial and update , and i notice that i got ``after`` settings before reboot in safe mode and applying fix .We should wait for final-final eset product on 19 sept , HIPS ,protocol filtering are not working so well in this home version who told you than HIPS not working....? in ESS 5 HIPS put in interactive mode and firewall also in interactive mode you will see is if working... Will do install info tomorrow - too tired now :( You can install like in safe mode like in the beta (safest), or monitor the install like in 1.52 (may have probs with web protection this way though). Additional tools added - clean out old reg keys, auto boot to safe mode. Compatibilty with v4 should be fixed.
