when i disable the firewall i am able to connect

You will have to play with your settings — personally, I'd enable WFC notifications temporarily and then switch on the VPN connection, to be able to deduce from the ensuing pop-ups which ones to whitelist.
have notification's on and there is no pop-ups i have no clue what to enable in order to allow it through

Try the trick after a reboot.

  • Does the location of the television face the door/s, window/s or any other source of light?
  • What are the watching conditions (bright, dim or dark?)
  • Will the viewers watch from a position directly in front of the TV or will some viewing from an (acute) angle?
  • What is your prime benefit you want from your TV (name only one?)
1. Not really a real door but it will be a partition door which has no direct light from outside coming through it.

2. Dim

3. With TV, better viewing angles are always desired.

4. Won't be one. Picture quality and reliability should come together.

What is your budget?
For 4k it's 40k

For FHD it's 30k-35k

I presume you shall be buying this TV after you are done purchasing your computer?
No, this has nothing to do with my PC. I can only start building my PC after my current laptop gets sold. The TV will be bought between dushera to diwali.

From local retailer. I can order the exact model that I want. He won't charge me more than 500 bucks as his profit.

@dcs18, help me out on choosing one of the following TV -

1. Micromax 4k

4 k

2. LG 1080p

Both of these guys are around same price. I know LG has been good and reliable thoughout but not sure about reliability and picture quality of Micromax.

Full HD

So there are the most appealing specs from micromax under my budget.

Screenshot_2015_10_19_19_40_52.jpgScreenshot_2015_10_19_19_39_16.jpg

So, the above two are what I have shortlisted. So what would you buy - a 42 incher 4k or 50 incher FHD?

In 4k the clarity will be more but will that benefit if it is no fed with 4k contents?

And a 50 incher having just FHD resolution, won't the pixles be visible quite badly?

Me . . . . . . . well, neither of the above — I am a Traditionalist. UFbmK6T.gif

Assume, all the TVs of the world has burnt out in a nuclear blast. The remaining are only those two. Which one would you go with?

As per that comparison, the Micromax 42C0050UHD 106 cm (42) LED TV kills it, for me (from your point of view — check out the actual price.)

Okay, target locked :guns:

One more thing as I have it asked earlier - will it be beneficial to get a 4k TV if we are unable to fed 4k contents to it? Also it isn't a matter of being a smart TV or not. Just good picture quality, sound and reliability is all I want.

Yes — 4k telecasting is just around the corner (meanwhile, an auspicious moment to start downloading all those BluRay feeds — not limited to porno.) MDD74cb.gif

Also it isn't a matter of being a smart TV or not.

"Smart" is the euphemism for surrendering your hymen into the hands of the Makers — unfortunately "Smart" and development go hand-in-hand. Fortunately, it is possible to safeguard one's privacy on a "Smart" TV.

Just good picture quality, sound and reliability is all I want.

Hmmmm — to enjoy that sort of luxury, one has to turn oneself . . . . . . . . . from Conformist to Traditionalist. :Sneaky:

Suggest performing a system-wide backup image before navigating to your User Profiles and deleting all unwanted profiles, except the following two:—

(Right-click) Computer (My PC) >> Properties >> Advanced system settings >> Advanced >> User Profiles >> Settings... >> (Highlight / select the profile to be deleted) >> Delete >> OK.

ps:—

Don't forget to image your system before trying this stunt.

In that case you can just navigate to User Accounts through your Control Panel and then to Manage another account — you can now rid the system of any unwanted User Account.

No idea — must be the debris from some previous accounts which are not fully deleted.
