Yes I know but maybe something wents wrong and the fix was not full applied.

Try this, remove Nod32 and the fix then reboot.

Next, install Nod32 and reboot.

Then install the fix and follow the fix instruction.

I feel that Nod32 driver was not properly installed.

- rebooted with "Last workin config"

- removed nod 4.0

- installed nod 3.0

On another computer all wents ok. On my notebook... :lmao:

Sorry, I haven't read everything pertaining to the problem but I run XP pro SP2 without 1 windows update (on principle, but that's another story) and have run ess v3 and now V4 with no problems. :rolleyes:

Trouble is, running Windows Update causes far more issues than it solves! :s lol

I think the ESET driver is clashing with something else that is resident in your computers memory and likely accessing a memory address it should not use.

ESET software is very reliable stuff and I have never had a BSoD due to any ESET install, and I have installed it on many systems ranging from Win98 upwards!

What security product did you previously have installed? Perhaps there is something left over from your previous AV that is clashing with the NOD driver?

There are many security products that are renowned for leaving much of themselves behind after you attempt to un-install them.

The best fix available is box, mara- fix v1.1 as you are able to FULLY ENABLE the Self Defence system in ESET 4.x when using this fix :rolleyes:

Before to install Nod 4.0 I had 3.0 installed fully working.

Anyway I'll go with 3.0 on this old notebook. On the pc 4.0 works fine.

Thank you kotaxor. I understand but my notebook has 7-8 years and the drivers are all at the end of their life. So there are no updates for me... ;)

-Mine says valid until 23.Jul.2009 ( 3 months ) : If all done fixes / cracks fail ( which I don`t believe at all- :beg: ), is possible to get a new key every 3 months ( but you have to change your email address name... not being a problem for me - I have 4 and can change at least 3 at any time and if needed,I can change name again and again and... again... for ever).

Nodlogin 9.9c

New NodLogin 9.9c all the previous versions lets work.

The NodLogin is a utility that places a license to the antivirus, so

that Antivirus can update itself daily of the ESET servers.

The NodLogin is compatible with all products and all the versions of

ESET (2,7, 3,0 and 4,0)

The NodLogin is not crack, is not a patch, is not fix.

The NodLogin does not modify any file of the antivirus nor of Windows,

modifies the registries of the antivirus either and less of Windows,

the only thing that does is to put a license to him been worth to the

antivirus.

As they know, the utilities are recognized like false positives, since

ESET puts it in their base of virus companies, so that the antivirus

eliminates it of your PC. So that the antivirus does not eliminate the

utilities, you must exclude the folder where you are going to unload

and to decompress the utility and simultaneously to exclude also the

folder where the NodLogin settled.

Well there must be some changes or they wouldn't have released a new version, but what they are I don't know. Also the fact that there was a 9.9a, b, and now c, leads me to believe that "a" was not an alpha, and "b" was not a beta. But I'm just glad they continue to develop it and it that it continues to work brilliantly. Of course it would be nice if they would include a change log in the release notes (and it would also be nice if they included an English translation of their readme file). But considering the price, I shouldn't complain. It's still my favorite.
