KotaXor
@asterisko, i dont think box/mara fix caused the problem, since you r the only one with this problemYes I know but maybe something wents wrong and the fix was not full applied.Try this, remove Nod32 and the fix then reboot.Next, install Nod32 and reboot. Then install the fix and follow the fix instruction.I feel that Nod32 driver was not properly installed. Hoca
@asteriskoWindows is up to date with last hotfixesTrouble is, running Windows Update causes far more issues than it solves! :s lolI think the ESET driver is clashing with something else that is resident in your computers memory and likely accessing a memory address it should not use.ESET software is very reliable stuff and I have never had a BSoD due to any ESET install, and I have installed it on many systems ranging from Win98 upwards! What security product did you previously have installed? Perhaps there is something left over from your previous AV that is clashing with the NOD driver? There are many security products that are renowned for leaving much of themselves behind after you attempt to un-install them. The best fix available is box, mara- fix v1.1 as you are able to FULLY ENABLE the Self Defence system in ESET 4.x when using this fix :rolleyes:Cheers
asterisko
@HocaBefore to install Nod 4.0 I had 3.0 installed fully working.Anyway I'll go with 3.0 on this old notebook. On the pc 4.0 works fine. Thanks!
mara-
@asteriskobox, mara- fix 1.1 is also working for Eset v3. I would recommend to use this fix instead of Marsu fix, since Marsu fix constantly runs one unnecessary process.Cheers ;)

Could you explain me how it works? Or maybe link other post to read from? That include updating your existing drivers too. :blink:Thank you kotaxor. I understand but my notebook has 7-8 years and the drivers are all at the end of their life. mara-
It just sets correct permissions for locking out Eset from making changes to registry and in that way it can't count down trial.Cheers ;)

KotaXor
Nodlogin 9.9cNew NodLogin 9.9c all the previous versions lets work. The NodLogin is a utility that places a license to the antivirus, sothat Antivirus can update itself daily of the ESET servers. The NodLogin is compatible with all products and all the versions ofESET (2,7, 3,0 and 4,0)The NodLogin is not crack, is not a patch, is not fix. The NodLogin does not modify any file of the antivirus nor of Windows, modifies the registries of the antivirus either and less of Windows, the only thing that does is to put a license to him been worth to theantivirus. As they know, the utilities are recognized like false positives, sinceESET puts it in their base of virus companies, so that the antiviruseliminates it of your PC. So that the antivirus does not eliminate theutilities, you must exclude the folder where you are going to unloadand to decompress the utility and simultaneously to exclude also thefolder where the NodLogin settled.C:\Archivo de Programa\UlisesSoft \ If they exclude the folder you will not have more problems withthe false positives and the antivirus did not eliminate the utility. For that that unloaded version 4,0 the NodDownload, they remember thatfirst they must DES-INSTALL the previous versions, to be able toinstall the new one.- All the utilities are sent compressed, please decompress thearchives and guárdenlos in a folder soon to be able to use them, donot execute it within the compressed file.- the utilities do not unload of any part, for that, you subscribe tothe list, so that I sent to them directly to the gmail mail.- Almost all the utilities are recognized like "false positive" byAntivirus, please exclude the utilities from the antivirus so thatAntivirus does not eliminate them of your PC.- They understand that they do not have to share the utilities inforums, webs, blog... "Internet" since they spoil all the work thatone does, so that the utilities continue existing.

harpua
Well there must be some changes or they wouldn't have released a new version, but what they are I don't know. Also the fact that there was a 9.9a, b, and now c, leads me to believe that "a" was not an alpha, and "b" was not a beta. But I'm just glad they continue to develop it and it that it continues to work brilliantly. Of course it would be nice if they would include a change log in the release notes (and it would also be nice if they included an English translation of their readme file). But considering the price, I shouldn't complain. It's still my favorite.
