Not because it blocks stupid little banner adverts, or porn pop ups either. Any free ad blocking software ON THE ENTIRE INTERNET does exactly the same thing. Hell I can do that by editing my host file on a daily basis too. That's not even CLOSE as to why Admuncher is so good. It's the video ads. Admuncher blocks all EMBEDDED commercial adverts within just about ANY streaming video I HAVE EVER COME ACROSS... I would GLADLY pay $80/year for Admuncher, except I own 4 computers and have a business with another 4 computers. There's no chance I'd pay almost $1000 year to watch videos online. Hell, I'd just buy the videos/dvds/blue rays for cheaper than that. Admuncher absolutely destroys video ads. Did you know that I was not even aware that youtube now embeds adverts into their videos now? I had no idea. Why? Because admuncher removes them, quietly and efficiently. Hulu, youtube, mtv.com, and about a million other streaming websites. I'll be the first to say that ad block plus is an amazing piece of software, especially for free. But it does NOTHING for video ads. So if ABP works for you, then use it, because you are obviously not watching videos online, especially on a commercial website, like hulu or MTV.comDon't be ignorant. Spend 10 minutes researching before you regurgitate the views/opinions on a forum post of someone you've never met that you spent 10 seconds reading. Please. We'll all be better off.Personally, I do not use the AdvOR method. I am still on ADMuncher 4.91 and couldn't care less. It still blocks my hulu ads or any other video ad. I dont need to update every day. In fact, I only check this thread every month or so. I read and get caught up on all that's happening. Why? Because I'll never make a post without doing a little bit of research. You shouldn't either. Sorry for the soapbox rant, but this forum (and thread) is LITERALLY the only place on the entire internet you can get DAILY information on registering Admuncher, and we all owe madeinheaven a giant "thank you". Hell, we all owe him a kiss on the lips. Trust me, I'm the first to admit that Admuncher is a HUGE pain and ALMOST not worth the effort. If I didn't watch videos online I wouldn't spend even 5 seconds trying to register admuncher. But those video ads make Admuncher absolutely, positively AMAZING and irreplaceable.
