Only these IP are enough (you can specify in the router):

169.55.40.5
169.55.0.224
185.80.221.18
50.22.78.28
169.55.0.227
50.97.82.44
174.127.73.85

This IP from service https://2ip.io/analiz/ (IP from address)

Not enough with only 7 IP's. There are 33 IP's (including these 7 IP's) need to be blocked as well.

Can also block using hosts file method, but bear in mind that you'll lose access to download installers from them as these websites are blocked systemwide. Also, chances that IDM will edit the hosts file when it detects hosts file being tampered with, so best to make hosts file read-only or use stronger firewall to counter that.

used cleaner and patch along with blocked ip's

If you use a patch there is no need to block IP's.

Actually... Is wrong!! Because also an installer could theoretically already call home! :coolwink:

You can disconnect the Internet cable, run the patch, then plug on the Internet cable again. With new patch from Ali.Dbg this option works for me. I don't block IP's

After any update, repeat the patch process and it will remove the fake serial again. :)

You can ignore this message. Many antiviruses can work falsely with crack's etc...

Avast You can throw out in the recycle bin ))) Kaspersky Internet Security is really true antivirus (it's not advertising). I have no problems with him.

In the pass i use Kaspersky on my old pc.....I have no good memories. Little OT about AV Usage.... on my recent pass i use Avira whit the 2099 license but in recent version apparently i obtain very bad issue whit liveupdate and i pass to Avast. Oh also rated to keep the windows defender alone for a while .... :)

But the IP-block method acts acts as a safeguard (and also second line of defense as well), in case if the patch (especially if it wasn't updated for a long time) is not effective anymore. I used IP block and patch together for a worry-free IDM copy.

Plus, the "fixed bugs" on every IDM changelogs could also be a hint that they're trying to defeat the patches.

This will never happen. They will have to put up with it. For every tricky ass, there is a dick with a screw )))

p.s. If IDM were much cheaper, then there wouldn’t be such a stir with patches... I (and not only me) could have bought IDM myself. And the developer can eventually make more money

Don't overconfident, rookie. Most program nowadays have data collection though. These will be used by them to what they called "fixed bugs".
