xpmule Posted February 27, 2013 Share Posted February 27, 2013 One of my all time favorite wallpapers from www.graffititechnica.com My desktop wallpaper and tray apps change over time and i rotate wallpapers.. lately i have been into Nasa space ones. Nasa Pic of the day = http://apod.nasa.gov/apod/archivepix.html I tried some themes from Deviant art (Placebo / Glass Onion) but the picture is using the default WIn 7 one. My OSD is the Aida64 sensor panel i created from scratch and yeah my hardware is old don't make fun of me ;) Oh and the taskbar icons are WFC | PB | UT | FF | WMC | Explorer The arrow on the far right on the taskbar is a link to my custom created XP style quick-launch with many groups etc right beside that is an invisible link unless you hover over it and it opens a text file that holds a temporary cache for passwords etc My machine does not get shut off or hibernate.. i usually run WMC 24 hrs a day and if not some auto maintenance tasks kick in.. The start button is a custom spinning / glowing orb thing i found online.. Desktop Icons are forbbiden on my machine ! I also have a dozen favorite apps pinned to the start-menu and no recent apps or docs shown and almost ALL other crap removed except docs, pics, downloads (linked in registry to custom downloads folder) and expanded classic control panel menu and run prompt.. aside from that the start menu is rarely used and is really just a fallback junk collection and place for rarely used links of which i randomly go in and clean out (delete unwanted links or folders) oh yeah and my explorer task bar icon has a dozen of my fav folder etc pinned to it.. As verbose as i always am some may be surprised i ran such a clean and simple desktop lol PS: i don't know how to put my pic in spoiler tags :( edit 2: yeah i had a feeling that was what it is.. edited. also let me know if that is too big a picture.
