The validity of the license has started from the day you received the license. So don't keep it unused thinking the validity will start only from the day you'll start using it. It was just a matter of luck. All the winners were randomly chosen with the help of random.org except for Armour. I give him a license directly as I had an extra license. To be fair, he was a random choice as well. We've never talked to each other prior or after this (except for once where he pm'd me to claim a license that he won on another giveaway).
