changing <nbr>28</nbr> to for example <nbr>0</nbr> will do the job

if update automatically run after activation it will send again information to server and check key (total-uninstall.com/cc/updates.php or martau.com/.......)

That is what I thought too. But when I checked, mine does not have the same XML tags as the one he posted.

I could be wrong, but maybe those entries are only present when TU rejects the activation? Mine is already activated, so that is probably why I don't see the same entries on mine.

seems fine my end but i do block with Windows8FirewallControlPlus 1st

my test were all working fine...but who knows it only take the smallest thing!

to see it in action when you run it ...just try to go on the internet and it should be blocked then close it down and tour internet is back...

also just like me allmost every one on this thred...has had it blocked and clean up many installs witch might give some conflict...

when i boot up a fresh OS...ill be tracing carefully to see what is realy going on....till then Happy Halloween Nsane

those are the decrypted https response from home server upon activation & update check, which are immediately digested and discarded.

i had thought about it but didn't have the guts to do so, since i managed to activate TU with alternative firewall anyway.

imo, it is better if we leave that as a final resort, considering our goal is to pirate rather than reverse engineering :lol:

it'll be harder to do the same if the next release protect the validation channel with private ciper!

- pause Kaspersky protection

- run Total Uninstall Pro 6.8.0 Portable

- add "Tu.exe" as exclusion in KIS (the file is hidden) Scan with VirusTotal

- add "Tu.exe" as "Trusted"

When you say ESET you need to be more specific because any of the known methods work just fine with NOD32 and Windows Firewall. I think you meant ESET Smart Security?
