I got some PM(s) from @knowledge

He is very worried concerning your last dispute about firewalls.

He thinks that your friendship might be affected by this difference of opinions.

My personal point of view is it:

  • We are know each other from years,  don't let someone / something to break our friendship, more than that when is about programs.
  • The best thing in life is that we are different, we can have different options, but, during these years, were more things that kept us united than to divide us.
  • I have a good feeling when I come here knowing that I have good friends, that helped me or which I helped them when I could. Actually, this is the only reason for which I haven't gave up.

Please try a reconciliation, Guys!

Wish you a great day! ;)

We are all good, bro. — what happened in Rome stays in Rome.

Is my Android device more safe on stock ROM or rooted/ custom ROM if my device gets stolen  ?

Once your device is stolen and falls into the custody of someone else, it doesn't matter whether the ROM was stock or custom and rooted.

Yes, you can use Tasker to block Google Play site for all time (except 04:40 hrs to 05:00 hrs or whatever time-range you wish.)

While there's precious little you can do to save your data, you can still use certain anti-theft apps. which enable you to delete the data on your stolen device remotely, using secret commands.

The location of the thief can be identified by the cops if they agree to track the device IMEI.

The DD-WRT V3 is available only as a beta — it's quite stable, though (last tested version.)

Backup your Firefox profile and then create a fresh profile to determine that it is indeed Firefox which is the culprit,

Hey @dcs18

I have a question related Comodo Firewall: I have set up a ruleset for my subnets from LAN.

For some applications I can select the new ruleset created, but for others I can not do it. Please take a look to the screenshot.

It is something related to port and when it detects http (80) for eg. won't let you to select some custom rulesets?

I know that I can apply it before, like in the screenshot from below, but I am interested to do it when I am asked ( like in the first screenshot ).

Is there any solution for me, please?

Thanks in advanced, Man! ;)

I don't have the COMODO Firewall installed on my system, anymore — just trying to assist from memory.

Navigate to Settings (or Firewall Settings) >> Enable Firewall >> ensure that Custom Ruleset is selected.

Not sure that the above will help — just offering blind advice.

Thank you very much for reply, Bro !

Custom Ruleset is present from the 2nd second from which I have installed it.

I am not willing to let something to call home even if I have the 2nd level of protection, Pi-hole, you know.

Maybe it might be something else from settings?

If you don't have an answer for now, please do not forget me when you will have to do again with Comodo Firewall.

This pop up is an option for lazy people. I am not used to be in this way but this option might be useful when I am busy.

Thanks Man! ;)

Adguard - Block Ads Without Root is now v2.12.234ƞ [Premium]

WHAT'S NEW
Nobody likes to roll out a hotfix just a week after the release, but sometimes there’s no other choice. We took this opportunity to not only fix the problem but also to update the CoreLibs filtering engine and make a handful of other useful changes. This is a necessary RC, tomorrow we will pull the trigger on the automatic update.

[Fixed] AdGuard does not restart after auto-pause on older Android devices

Turned out, on some older devices (Android 6 and older) AdGuard didn't restart after the protection got paused automatically (say, on the network state change). This affected a large enough portion of AdGuard users to justify an immediate update.

Other
[Changed] Localizations has been updated
[Fixed] An error occurring during the license activation
[Fixed] Expiring certificate issue on 32-bit Android devices
[Improved] CoreLibs has been upgraded to 1.1.53

I do not use a anti-theft app. — you might want to check which one from the following list is available at your favorite android warez site:—

You can bookmark and monitor the following page to update your DD-WRT firmware whenever an update is available — alternatively, you can monitor this conversation:—
