(ive only recently deleted the key even though i havnt had probs with popups or fake serial, maybe its the blocked ips doing its job)heres my question does the visual protect key get reinserted everytime i upgrade from installer to a new version? dcs18 Posted June 30, 2015 Author Share Posted June 30, 2015 Those of you who have been using MBAM - beware of the inordinate number of services it runs.If you decide to disable those services, your MBAM exposes itself and leaves open the scope to be terminated with the Task Manager - meaning; malware can terminate your MBAM, too.In other words, using MBAM without disabling its services is like riding a lame duck - on the other hand, disabling the services is like permitting a monkey to perch on top of your shoulder and insert its thingy into your RHS side ear just to pee outta your LHS ear.All the best with either of your choice (you're forced to take) - lame duck or mischievous monkey (you'll need all the luck.)
