jofre
NodAbler is here sense longtime ago.Just have to read previous comments. Also, there is no version 3.3.For NodEnabler 3.2.1 to work a clean install is needed.CheersJofrePS:- @PsychoticxBloodxLust and @brendon » Already reported to the author =Matt 1553= problems you found........ Check if you have all Microsoft Windows Updates installed........ At least, Microsoft.Net framework 1.1 must be installed too........ Reboot PC after NodEnabler 3.2.1 installed and use "Settings" then.

mara-
Did you guys check out the matousec test of ESET Smart Security 4.0.417.0?Check it out below:Poor EsetAny guess on what it got? 99%? 96%? NO It got 4%. One of the lowest ratings in history! So ahead and use Eset, soon ur gona get a bill on your credit card of £50,000 from when hackers planted 5 viruses on ur pc! :PWell, this is just firewall tests. I care more about Antivirus Protection, although I use Smart Security. I'm sure that Smart Security is better then Windows Firewall, which I used to use and had no problem. Now, I don't know how valid these test are. It's strange that Smart Security failed on Kill1 and Kill2 tests with description:Description: Kill1 tests whether the tested product protects its processes against termination. If it fails this test, it is likely that it does not implement self-defense mechanisms at all.Description: Kill2 tests whether the tested product protects threads of its processes against termination.Smart Security and NOD32 Antivirus has Self-Defense, and I did not found any way to bypass it. And after you put password on Eset settings, there is no way that Self-Defense can be disabled. I don't think these test are accurate. I would also like to mention test Yalta with description:Description: Yalta checks whether the tested product filters outbound UDP traffic. When creating rules there is a possibility to set UDP protocol, so this is one more thing which I may not agree.I can't say anything on other test because I'm not expert here. Even things I mentioned are just my observations which are somehow obvious to me.Cheers :)
harpua
Maybe they did the test with self defense disabled and other settings not properly set.
Administrator DKT27 Posted July 20, 2009 Administrator Share Posted July 20, 2009 Maybe they tested it everything disabled in ESET NOD32. So good even when it is disabled it can detect 4% of viruses.

Bizarre™
@PsychoticxBloodxLust:Nightly builds prior to Firefox 3.5 crashes when browsing the steam community.I'm thinking it's somehow related to non-optimal HTML coding.Anyway, I'm going off-topic here so I better stop now :)
mara-
So good even when it is disabled it can detect 4% of viruses. They just tested firewall here, not antivirus protection. I'm sure that antivirus protection is in the top.Cheers :)
Administrator DKT27 Posted July 21, 2009 Administrator Share Posted July 21, 2009 Now I will say, So good even when only firewall enabled, it can detect 4% of viruses. See eset's power.
mara-
I understand your point DKT27, but firewall does not protects you from viruses. It protects you from intrusion on you system, let's say by hackers. But I sure agree that Eset is really good.Cheers :)
