I only use Totalcmd and copy/paste data.dat, tokens.dat in normal mode

work perfectly with Windows 8.1 and Office 2013

I will experiment easy way backup and restore Windows 8.1 RTM and Office 2013 without going through safe mode directly copy and replace install un activated Windows later today i guess we all need 2 files:

1 file named data.dat which is hidden

1 file named tokens.dat which is visible

If i successfully replace and activated i will edit my topic here...

Notice: Tested last time without going through safe mode just respacing data.dat & tokens dat files after that i get error number 5 therefore it is not working directly i am afraid it works only way explained on the main post, there is no short cut.

However later today i will experiment only injecting this two files without store folder directly but in safe mode lets see..

When you take a file SPP this file can activate Windows on more than one computer without key i have tried this and it succeeded with me

what do u mean by that? is that just simple copy data.dat and token.dat from activated windows and paste it in our windows can make windows activated without have to call using skype??

I mean when you take a file SPP On the computer on which Windows is activated ment method can be through November in this topic Take this file and do the steps November work on another computer that has nothing to do with this file and this can activate more than one computer without a key

Sharing data,dat is ill advised as i just said, it contains all activation details and is easily flagged by MS so there is no point.

i suggest backup all spp folder the same way you see in the instruction page i tested backing up only store folder it did not work for me.

Do the following:
1 - Display hidden files like the image below:



2. Go to this location and save spp folder in somewhere save in your other hard drive, partition, usb stick DVD etc....

C:\Windows\System32\spp\store\2.0

3. Make sure to verify that the store folder contains these files and folders!

1 file named data.dat which is hidden
1 file named tokens.dat which is visible
1 folder named cache containing a file named cache.dat

B. Reinstall Windows

1. After Windows is reinstalled I suggest running a new Command Prompt as Administrator where you need to type in

slmgr -upk 

to uninstall the key so the status changes to Unlicensed

2. For those who had Office 2013, reinstall office.

3. Go to location:

C:\Windows\System32\spp\store\2.0  

copy and replace the current store folder with the backed up one.

4. of the command to put the serial that was activated with windows.

slmgr.vbs /ipk XXXXX-XXXXX-XXXXX-XXXXX-XXXXX

5. of the command to put the serial that was activated with the office.

64bits

CD C:\Program Files\Microsoft office\office15

cscript ospp.vbs /inpkey:XXXXX-XXXXX-XXXXX-XXXXX-XXXXX

32bits

CD C:\Program Files (x86)\Microsoft office\office15

cscript ospp.vbs /inpkey:XXXXX-XXXXX-XXXXX-XXXXX-XXXXX

and ready to update your desktop and see the brand disappeared.

Windows 8.1 RTM + Office 2013 Automatic Backup & Restore Using Windows Toolkit 2.4.9

A. Backup......

1. Open Windows Toolkit Go to the last tab >>> License Backup

2. Create Backup Name [in my example Windows 8.1 RTM Pro]

3. When and if Windows Toolkit asked any product name just enter the box correctly. [if you activate using Retail Keys you wont ne ask in my example Office 2013 Pro Activated via MAK Keys therefore i have been asked]

4. Hit Backup Tab to created Backup folder.

B. Restore......

When you reinstall your Windows 8 and Office 2013 you need Microsoft Toolkit and Backup folder earlier you created.

1. Once again go to License Tab Enter the backup name you created earlier - Make sure you enter exactly same name when you created backup session if you don't remember look at the folder name inside backup files!

2. Hit Restore Tab and wait till application reinstall.

3. Right click desktop click refresh button magic happens your Windows & Office activated.

Tested Working With Charm VMware Workstation on Windows 8.1 RTM Pro x64 & Installed Office 2013 Pro Plus!
