locoJoe
Thanx Roger D for the great info. You answered many questions I had about the product! If I do indeed try Rollback RX it would be the v10 w/meds you posted as I dont have a online key for activation. I have 2 concerns tho, maybe you could answer for me?1.) I understand that without the newest RollBack Rx 10.2 Build 2696419340 I will eventually run into corruption problems down the road. Is this true? Or is that just with win8 (I use win7)?2.) I have an EUFI bios and my 1st HDD is GPT partitioned. Will v10 work OK with my HDD? Please see capture below. Thank You!

november_ra1n
I am using Raxco PerfectDisk Professional 12.5 Build 312 and use it least once a week can someone tell me how can i disable defragmentation only for RollBack Pro using Raxco!I got my answer remove 3rt Party Software which i am not really happy cause defragmentation is important and i don't think RollBack is the best software doing this cause it takes only few min using their defreag. compare with PerfectDisk does proper longer but more efficient one. Here is what they say!Rollback team and they responded with the following:“In order to run any Windows based defragger is to uninstall RollBack Rx. Defrag the hard drive and then re-install RollBack. There is a reason for why defragging of your drive is not recommended with RollBack Rx. Firstly, all defraggers only defrag files system based on Windows. These defraggers do not understand the sector mapping algorithms of RollBack Rx - in most cases these defraggers see "White Spaces" which in fact are used by RollBack to map the changes between snapshots. Therefore, Defragging is actually causing more file disruption than its intended use.

The way you worded ur post above it sounds like the meds you posted wont work with v10.2. Great post tho. I have learned alot.

Ponting
It is always recommended to have a clean backup image of your OS with all the latest updates on external drive(s) before installing Rollback Rx.Rollback Rx is used more for convenience rather than security.
