dcs18
Your ETA has increased instead of reducing.
rudrax
What ETA?
dcs18
Estimated / Expected Time of Arrival.
rudrax
Estimated / Expected Time of Arrival. That was due to speed capping. You see there 8kbps - the capped speed. Mobile ISPs are damn expensive as well as sh!ty speed capping.Edit: Hey which utility would you recommend to deal with pen drives and SD cards? It should do things like error fixing, formatting. dcs18
Edit: Hey which utility would you recommend to deal with pen drives and SD cards? It should do things like error fixing, formatting.Format the SD card within the hardware to which it originally belonged - never through Windows. ;)
rudrax
If you can't format there, then what?
dcs18
Any hardware like a camera or cellphone - would certainly have it's own built-in system for formatting the card.
rudrax
Sometimes conditions won't be as expected. Error will occur with the very hardware with which it's shipped. How about "Gparted".

rudrax
I get the opportunities to use them rarely but before I figure something out, the opportunity leaves.Gparted is a live boot cd, right? I will get it burned on a plate.

rudrax
Won't matter for SSD user, I guess. I read the theory part. Sounds impressive. I can't try it now as my windows 8.1 download is in progress. I'm not making any changes to my system till the download complete. But I'm interested to know how it works in real time. If you can manage a bit spare time, please test AMD RAMDisk in some non SSD systems.

rudrax
Only a risk of losing data on power loss. That's obvious as RAM is volatile.
