I have install nodlogin 9.7 over the 9.6 without removing it, no problem.

Just copy the setup file to Eset Program files and install from there, nodlogin.exe will just replace each other!

User name and password still appear in Update. I guess happened after last update to 3390 because it was there last night. Using 3.0.672 with a clean install.

I'm not seeing that on EAV 3.0.672 with NLI 9.7 and I am at update 3390 also. Everything looks the same as before. In protection status can still see "license valid until . . ."

Don't worry, sometime I do not have a license valid date too, it will come and go.

Even using 9.6, the same thing sometime happen too. But it's OK

Nodlogin will 'kick in' once the pass/user is backlisted.

TESTED / WORKING

I have some knowledge about this program:

Generador v6.3 is a program that download the updates to folder, and than you can update from that directory. The program use valid serials from ulisessoft database to download the latest update files from eset_upd folder on eset offical servers (retail servers), but the serials are not inserted to ESET, the program just uses the serials to download the updates.

ADVANTAGES:

• If you use this program, the update files will be kept in the folder, so even if you uninstall and reinsall ESET products and you don't have a internet connection - you can simply update from this folder.
  It's also very handy in this case:
  
• If you have a friend that has ESET NOD32 installed but he does not have an internet connection, you can help him out, simply connect to the internet, run Generador v6.3 and it will download the update files to a folder (I will explain later in this post how to use this program) ,now you can burn this folder, copy it to your friend's computer and choose this folder as an ESET update server (I will explain this too).
  

DISADVANTAGE:

• You need to start this program every time you want to update (but actually you can make scheduler to run this program every hour or so).
  

HOW TO USE THE PROGRAM:

1) Copy generador.exe to "C" drive and run it from there. It will create the folder "update" and download the update files to that folder. Wait until it's all finished.

2) Now you need to choose this folder as eset update server.

There are two ways to do so:

• Automatically:
  Download update.reg:
  Uploaded to MediaFire.com. The sharecode is /?aawaydhjrkg.
  Double-click update.reg file and click Yes and Ok.
  
• Manually:
  Open ESET GUI > click F5 > Update .
  Click edit on the "update server" and add the "update" folder location (C:\update) and click Add and
  choose this folder as the main Update server and click Ok.
  

3) Open ESET GUI > Update and click on "Update virus signature database" to update from this folder.

4) Enjoy.

If you want to use it again just run generador.exe from "C" drive and wait and than update eset.

(of course you can copy generador.exe to other folder/location, but don't forget to choose and add this folder as eset update server).

NOTE:

NodGen v3.0 does not work properly, you need to have serial so NodGEN will be able to generate the update files, also the program somtimes give an error.

so I recommend everybody to use Generador v6.3 to generate the update files (em000_32_l0.nup and not nodus01.nup like NodGen)

also Generador v6.3 use vaild serials from ulisessoft database so you can generate the update files and update to the latest signature updates with Generador v6.3.

I recommend everybody to use Generador v6.3 and not NodGen v3.0.

This explanation is wirtten by me for NSANE.FORUMS and other sites.

Maybe make a new Profile (Local) choose Profile Local, and add C:\Update in Update servers, that way it gets the updates from HD, and not trying to get them from servers.....

Yeah, but couldn't one of you guys make a fix that would first use Generador to get the update files and then make ESET update right after and combine that with the everlasting trial? That would be the best fix ever: Forever activated, always retail updates.

It says v.2.1 but that`s an error. The creator forgot to change 2.1 to 2.2.

I compared both and they have different size files.

It probably asked you to change the exe file of NodLogin, not ESET. I don't believe NodLogin changes ESET's files.
