Install Notes
1. Disable the Self-Defense
2. Exit Kaspersky by using the trayicon.

beto , You can use 30days trial licence only for your KIS2011

Thanks snowonthetree for your reply. I was hopping to get 90 days with kis 2011 like always.

Still a question: How comme that I get like 60 days or something (not 30 days & not 90 days) with code in link below.

Each time I resett trial for kis 2011, the deadline period is Fbruary. 01, 2012. Does that trial code expires on february 1?

Really appreciated you added a "Trial Reset" function for KES8 in KW. Been away for awhile, did not read until now.

I am really messing in trial resetting the Mac edition... planning to run windows in virtual machine.

Well, apparently there is a simple solution for it: delete the kaspersky log folder in \Library\Logs\ and delete the key.

Running a VM in windows with KIS, there is no need of an av installed to the vm for a NAT connection, as KIS is doing the job. No av ---> faster vm. I hope kaspersky for Mac does similar job. (No way, no network monitoring)

if stili not working, it means:

1. KIS/KAV 2012 updated a.b.c.d.e.f.g that installed in my pc is completely 1000% different with your KIS/KAV 2012

2. Kaspersky hate you so much :D lol

New problem of my KIS 2012.The TR worked well but the program failed to update online. Database is out of date. I have same problem with my 2 PCs 2 days ago.

I think the Kaspersky send some patchs to blocked update function.

I have the same problem since yesterday as soon as i tick proxy server authentication and added username / password problem resolved.

(I am not using any trial reset)

Step to configure proxy server settings from the main application window

To configure the proxy server settings from the main application window, perform the following actions:

• Open the Kaspersky 2012 application window.
• Click on the Update button.
• In the Update window, click on the down-arrow button to open the context menu
• Select Settings from the context menu.
• In the Update window on the Source tab, click on the Proxy server button.

• Check the box Use proxy server.

• You can also select Automatically detect the proxy server settings, but if the application fails to detect the settings, you will need to specify these settings manually.
• If you are working in a local network, then you may need to specify proxy server authentication.
• You can also check Bypass proxy server for local addresses. This option is useful, if you are working in a local network. If you uncheck this option, then work with local addresses will be done via the proxy server and it will increase your Internet traffic.

• Click OK in the Proxy server settings window.
• Click OK in the Update window.

i share my TR in this forum, hoping that it working for you too.

my TR isn't perfect, it may not work with Kaspersky and Windows non English version :rofl:

Well, Which Trial Reset works correctly on win 7 x64! I think it's easier than to find the keys! Also, I have read on internet that they block the key quickly after activation, which means before the end of period (same day)!For now, I search, and put the commercial keys to the KIS 2012 and update once in 1 day!
