You make a mistake ,for testing correctly your method with SysTracer,

you MUST launch SysTracer with System right , and if you test it correctly you'll

see that another reg key is changed ,this one exactly

ya, sorry I pasted those lines from an old version.. i tested this reg file on my pc and it worked, but i turn the self protection on manually.. that was the problem, thanks for the feedback

I got to know about the Sam entry....

and was wondering that it still work....I mean....I did some different reset methods...several times on different machines....and...everytime works.

did also a new installation and using that batch here (http://freetexthost.com/r3je5qxpod ) who is doing that usercomment - and works also.....

that means - if Sam feels OK one time....you can do those simple regs all time......

by the way:

opening sam use follwing command:

AT 01:06 /INTERACTIVE REGEDIT.EXE

just change the time in according to your system time, adding 2 minutes ( in this case 01:08 ) and registry will open 2 minutes later with sam in full color......

KIS2011 64 bit had a different setting path in the registry:

Can someone with win7 64bit tell if the setting path of KIS2012 is now

I haven't a 64bit machine to check it.

However those lines aren't indispensable for the reset, you can manually start kis after rebooting and reactive the self protection. Please try and report if you can.

I think that the msvcr1000 is part of the Microsoft Visual C++ 2010 Redistributable Package. Try installing this

i did that steps :

if you have had any other Kav version before, please delete before installing a new version:

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\SystemCertificates\SPC\Certificates\

and i created reg file after i follow that steps

Just do this steps:

1) Turn off self protection

2) execute the reg file

3) restart the computer

4) activate the trial license

5) check if selfprotection is on

windows 7 32 bit checked... its not work... update finished and it show trial license expired ..

I have just formatted and reinstalled Windows today and activated KIS 2012 as usual, with 90-day trial key. The difference is that its validity only lasts for 64 days. :s I do not use any crack and any trial resetter on it.

Any help please, so that I can regain 90-day validity?

Probably, a new 90-day trial key needs to be created now.
