Kaspersky 2012 Fixes

The expire is a bug. I had it tell me that your trial is no longer valid and that the key expired 47936 days ago please purchase a commercial license and that was with the normal 30 day trial and not the 91 day key. Was a fresh install and never used any cracks.

me and my frend,use this keys in 2011 and 2012 until keys 0 days or expired,working fine

and trialreset + insert keys again working again 91 days

this keys from original kaspersky OEM " Latin America Edition " 90days trials

Didnt know what happened, but after I Completely wiped KIS and reinstalled, the keys are again working.

Sadly, there is no option to reduce the scan frequency. :( It is not that I want to disable it, but I want it not to be run way too frequently.

I am afraid that excessive rootkit scan will cause more wear and tear to my hard disk.

This would be on a very (minimal) scale. I would let that run and forget about it, or just untick for a while "Perform regular rootkit scan" and see what happens.

Your problem might have been related to the previous license. Either you didn't let it expire or you failed to remove it..... :think:

Anyway I have Kaspersky installed in three different partitions and everything is working flawlessly. :dance:

lol. i have three different antiviruses on three different partitions, that way, if one of them gets infected and the installed av is unable to clean, i could boot into one of the other partitions and try with the av installed there ;)

of Kaspersky AV + IS 2012 and PURE 9 so you have more time to evaluate the product.

Once your Kaspersky 30-days trial license runs out just use the Kaspersky 2012
Trial Reset v1.1c to let your Kaspersky retrieve a new Kaspersky 30 days trial
license, done within a few seconds (incl. all Kaspersky features and updates).
No need hunting for Kaspersky licenses since eventually all get blacklisted.

Install Notes
1. Disable the Self-Defense
2. Exit Kaspersky by using the trayicon.
3. Start ganjin_ktr_2012.exe and press the -Reset- button.
4. Wait for Kaspersky to launch and activate your new trial period.
Done!

Note: Your computer has to reboot when resetting 2012 versions of Kaspersky.

* If the Trial Reset is detected/blocked by your antivirus software then add it
to the exclusions lists of real-time protection and auto-scan. You may need
to temporarily disable real-time protection and auto-scan when adding the
Trial Reset to the exclusions lists, or when using the Trial Reset.

* If the Trial Reset is removed by your antivirus software then restore and
exclude it through your antivirus (Quarantine or History, or something similar).

KTR2012 – Kaspersky 2012 Trial Reset Tool

In the past, we’ve shared about KTR911 by Nikko, a Kaspersky Reset tool that lets you legally use Kaspersky Free after end of 30-day trial period. Recently, Kaspersky released the latest version of their security products – Kaspersky Antivirus 2012 and Kaspersky Internet Security 2012, which were not supported by KTR911.

Fortunately, Nikko has released a new updated version of Kaspersky trial reset tool for Kaspersky 2012 “KTR 2012 v1.0” with support for: Kaspersky Internet Security 2012 (KIS 2012), Kaspersky Anti-Virus 2012 (KAV 2012), and Kaspersky PURE. KTR 2012 is a portable and safe tool, compatible with Microsoft Windows 32-bit and 64-bit edition.

HOW TO RESET KASPERSKY –

1) Disable Kaspersky Self-Defense (from Kaspersky Settings)

2) Exit Kaspersky (from system tray/Notification area)

3) Run KTR2012 and click on "Reset Kaspersky" button

4) Reboot

TIPS: Save KTR2012 into CD/DVD to prevent file deletion by Kaspersky.

I installed kis 2012 and after 5-6 days, I reset using GANJIN kis trial reset following the instructions (to try) and I activated a new trial license for 30 days, but after 30 nim Kaspersky reported that my trial period expired! wtf! Am I supposed to wait for the first trial period expires, and then use the reset??

You need to use resetter every 30 days then you should be activate Kaspersky 30 day trial again.

Open Kaspersky product, go to Settings > click Notifications under options menu. Open Settings tab under notifications, scroll down to Important notification and uncheck the option “License validity period expires soon”. Click Ok > Apply.

yes there is a way to remove that notification, follow stepwise---- setting ----> advanced setting -----> notifications -----> settings ----->

critical events ------> unmark licence has expired

important event ------> unmark licence expire soon

other events -------> unmark important licence notification is available

thats all no more any licence notifications......
