Hi, guys! If you have some problems with "Trial reset" in "Kaspersky World" - you can use "Key loader" and "Key Merger" from "Kaspersky World". You can use keys from kis2011 to activate kis2012. See video:

If you only cared to read the thread you would have realized by now that after update patch b from Kaspersky they succeedeed in neutralizing all trial resetters! Then Kaspersky will tell you that all trial resetters are trojans otherwise they would go bankrupt. Do me a favour will you?. Read before asking silly questions! :rant:

This thread must be closed as everyone must prepare himself to buy 1-year license or use KIS-2011 because it works fine with TRs

There is only activation method using key files only. Baring on mind that Kaspersky block keys every Thursday or Friday. You need to update keys once a week till we get working reset. There is a info about it on main topic how to use key files.

Why not? In Spanish there is no KIS 2012 available yet! Whereas we still have working trial resetters for KIS 2011 i.e. box's and Ganjin's and Saduff's. Then you can use Kaspersky PURE. Both Ganjin's and Box's are working for it!!! :yes:

You can also use Kaspersky key files from the previous version 2011. Just put the code AAA.........3 we mentioned previously and it will allow you to enter the key files for the previous version! It is up to you!

Unfortunately no fix in sight yet.

This problem was solved last year - I believe- by purging Kaspersky before applying the resetter. You can see its workings by analyzing box's trial resetter!

This is what box found last year after his first reset tool was neutralized:

Prior to this, KTR just deletes the registry value. When Kaspersky (k) starts, it searches for the registry value to determine how many trial days are left. If there is no registry value, then k triggers the activation mechanism. To combat the KTR, Kaspersky made some changes. The most significant being that if there is no registry value or the value is incorrect, then the trial period ends.

When installing k for the first time, k takes a snapshot of the computer (hardware/settings??) and write the value in the registry. In this registry value, it also tells k that this computer has not been activated. By restoring the registry value, KTR makes k thinks that the computer has not been activated.

So, purging is necessary in order to force Kaspersky to write this very important registry value and allows KTR to Extract and rewrite it when resetting the trial period.

System requirements

Install Notes
1. Disable the Self-Defense
2. Exit Kaspersky by using the trayicon.
3. Start KW.exe and press the -Reset- button.
4. Wait for Kaspersky to launch and activate your new trial period.
Done!

INSTRUCTION

1- Install a program, run
2.Disable self-defense program.

3.Turn off self defence and exit Kaspersky, right click on icon on toolbar>>>EXIT
4.Kaspersky World Trial Reset as ADMINISTRATOR
5.Restart the PC

Enter key: AAAAA-AAAAA-AAAAA-AAAA3
4- Click on Next
5- In the next window, click on Browse

8.After activation switch on the internet
9.Update virus definitions

"Licence expired" after 15 minutes :( --> for a 30 days Trial ... :frusty:

So this update doesn't work with patch b.

Edit : Tested with version 1.2.2.73.

I am testing XP Pro Virtual Machine it looks fine after using trial reset however my virtual machine give me negative result after few days so if you guys try Kaspersky World 1.2.2.81 after few hours give us a report please.

On previous releases I've noticed they had ripped Ganjin's Trial Reset that's why I discarded their solution. But perhaps they might have added a solution or idea or their own!

I must also mention that Eset has not let me download their solution. Have a look!

KIS 2011 let me download. I immediately scanned it. No positives. I then put it in a password protected (filename encryption on) .RAR. Do you want me to upload for your benefit (and those of others)?
