It notified that "Patching done" but when I ran IDM, the IDM tray icon displayed and then disappeared immediately i.e the program started and then exit, even I set it excluded from Norton Auto Protect. Supremo Phantom Posted January 16, 2011 Share Posted January 16, 2011 gunner308,not sure which norton product you are using, but if it has sonar protection activated, it will prevent modified idman.exe from running, and delete it. if that is what has happened with you, restore the deleted file form quarantine, and exclude it from future scans again.then it will run normally.hope this helps you.
