Be careful. They may be able to tell from the log file if someone has a genuine software or not, but I could be wrong. Have you done this before, I mean the log thing?

Yes, I've done so in the past. And yes, it does specify your user and key in the registry.

But I don't think he's such a bastard, that he won't reply back even if he sees that the other logs don't contain genuine licenses.

Well if you've done it before then I guess you're ok.

Yes, "time left" is the important one, but sometimes knowing how much time has passed is helpful. Then again, you don't have to ask him again. Knowing that you've asked is enough, Thank you.

Your settings show that you have invalid version of IDM executable file

IDMan.exe. In all cases of C++ library error that we checked, it appeared

that users used invalid version of IDM executable file (changed by crack,

patch etc). After installing the genuine version of IDM and registering it

with valid serial number problem always disappeared.

Maybe it's because of the SND patch?....Did you used that one or?....I really couldn't tell if it's because of the patch, or because something in the registry itself....either way it's a weird bug

LOL. That's ingenious. While you're at it, could you please ask dave to add a "elapsed time" column to the main window. It's good to know how long it's been since the download's start.

It could be possible that patch messes up, but I doubt it. I don't think that IDM executable can have such impact on internet connection. This looks like fault in drivers for advanced browser integration.

I know its an oft repeated question here,but can anyone shed light on whatever happened to 'GAG'?

His IDM fixes were greatly anticipated a while ago.Has he retired or what?!!.

Well he is still active, although he doesn't make IDM patches anymore. And yes, the old name was nsaneproductions

Gag is still very much alive. I don't really know his reasons for not making anymore IDM patches, but I'm sure that if I asked nicely he would make one.....I'll give it a shot when Dave get's out the next update.

No, I just use the UnREaL RCE - AlphaPatcher patch. I only had the Internet loss once (like mara- I also use Advanced Browser Integration). I'll keep watching for the problem.

The last Gag Patch i have is for 5.18.5.

I could perhaps make a special Patch for nsane users (something Gag like), but i think our solutions are enough.

Besides i would release this as a beta stable working fix, because i forgot some steps already...

Another way to permanantly registering idm

with this way idm doesnt show bad registiration id bla bla bla

1. First install idm and close it

2. Find C:\WINDOWS\system32\drivers\etc hosts file

3. open hosts file with notepad

4. İnsert these at the and save and close

5. now open idm and insert the key
