I've tested the new /updated UnReal patch released today and it works fine. I don't know whether it is the one on the frontpage since there was no note of it having been updated -as usual; one has to guess it has been because Jalaffa is far from been outdated :lol:

What's happened if del the key:

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Internet Download Manager

The patch for IDMan.exe is very good!

I patched it by Unreal patch. It notified that "Patching done" but when I ran IDM, the IDM tray icon displayed and then disappeared immediately i.e the program started and then exit, even I set it excluded from Norton Auto Protect. I do not know why...

not sure which norton product you are using, but if it has sonar protection activated, it will prevent modified idman.exe from running, and delete it. if that is what has happened with you, restore the deleted file form quarantine, and exclude it from future scans again.

then it will run normally.
