jofre
Yes I tried this. Is there any fix for this bug?----------------------------------------------- Sense you already tried @PurpleBeanz trick, so you say, there is a thing you can do: - Don`t know where you got your version of ESET...Why don`t you download ESS 5.0.93 directly from Homepage --» ESET.com ? If you intend to do this, you must first uninstall that ESET you have installed and then download from here : = http://www.eset.com/home/ It has to be done in safe mode because ESS will be automatically installed. Apply latest «Eset PureFix 2.01» in safe mode then. Good Luck Jofre

PurplebeanZ
Erm..... sorry guys I need to release another final :frusty: just noticed I commented out a line of code which is important to ESET 4 compatibility. ESET 5 is not affected - you do not need to update if you are using ESET 5.Will update the icons with the new 'circle' ones aswell before i rebuild. And add change log and instructionsSorry :duh:

jofre
Many thanks PurplebeanZ but are you sure that Protocol filtering issue is not caused by Purefix ? That`s an ESET issue ! You should install ESET 5 without using the fix, like others already have done, and confirm that the issue you notice is still there. Mine is WinXP Pro Sp3 ( x86) and none issues found. ESET 5 is perfect for WinXP users and Fix is just great and for ALL.
