Ok, I just did a clean install of ESS 4.2.71.2 and used PureFix 1.52. It said it installed and was enabled successfully. So I rebooted.

This is what is happening now. Is this normal?

When I hover over the icon in the system tray it says "virus signature database: ready"....I'm assuming this is normal and it means the fix has been successfully applied. But when I go to do updates, it says it already has the latest version.....but it's running 5781 which is the original update that shipped with it. It's from January 12 2011!!!

How do I get it to update correctly?

I got a update early today 2011-04-14 20:47 Update 6042 (20110414) Update info page shows its latest one and there was 3 updates Thursday the 14 th NOD fussed at me they had blacklisted my serial I just went a serial page got a new one it updated Fine ^_^

X64=64-bit and x86=32-bit. So you should be fine using it on your windows 7 32bit :)

The trial resetter is a one time tool since it's a set and forget fix. Also, x86 and x32 means 32-bit just simplified. The same goes for 64-bit ^_^

  If for some reason I don't use a trial resetter, what will happen if the 30-day trial expires? Simple, no more updates to signature database.

  So, it's only useful if there's an internet connection? Certainly not. NOD32 is set to update every hour.

  Once you establish an internet connection, NOD32 will automatically update.

  And that's how useful the trial resetter is.

  Personally, I just grab a license floating around.

I have another mate question i'm just curious, why is it if you update nod32 it says virus signature database is

up-to-date though it's not, for example you have 6045 v.s.d in your nod32 now but the latest update is 6047 why is it?

I want to use full version. I use user name and password from hhuu.net. when I download comercial version eset antivirus from eset site with last user name and password ftom hhuu and put on eset I get a message as user name and passwor is invalid. I don understud why....
