Error0101
51 minutes ago, Thirdzky said: Most of the time, after updating CCleaner into a newer version with a so called "lifetime pro license" while you are online, it will revert back to free version. this happens because the developer wants us to reinsert and verify the key to their server. This already happens for example in IObit products, before you just need to insert the licenses even when offline, So on the version 5 of IMF I created a license with 2060 expiration to be able to use it with the upcoming version because i know that in the future IObit company will change the license activation from offline to online. and now it happened. So if anyone of us encounters a sudden reverting from pro to free of updated application (for example CCleaner), then just try to reactivate it by using the same license you have inserted before or with a new one, but be sure to disconnect online to avoid detection. (Just like what i did in IMF) I tried but it did not work. Piriform has the statement about lifetime license many users purchased before they switching to monthly or annually payment. They did not respect their customer like Malwarebytes does. Lifetime license is now revoked 2 minutes ago, vladv said: It was a legit lifetime license sir? if I may ask 😉 in the case you asked me, it's my license. I purchased it some years ago, before they switching back to monthly payment

My ESET is still flagging the CCleaner exe files as "Suspicious Objects". This is enough for me to doubt this version, especially with the sudden increase of size. click-click
1 hour ago, Pete 12 said: Then HOW to make it start faster , like before.........?? The lazy start happens when you block ccleaner from calling home via your firewall. If you unblock it, it will start immediately. I tested this with the current portable app (no cracks) blocked and unblocked. The difference in start-up is 10 seconds on my system. It would be interesting to know what they added to the current ccleaner code to make it behave like this.
