Our apologies for such a prolonged issues with nsane.forums and also nsane.down not being updated. The issue had stemmed due to issues in IPB software that we use as our forums software. As the frontpage, that is, nsane.down, in a certain way, does not work unless the forums do, it was not possible to update the frontpage about it either. The issue with the forums was deep rooted in the forum software, something we had earlier contacted the IPB developers about. While they did fix one of the issue, the issue that prevented the forums from working was not fixed, with them blaming our server rather than the forum software itself. While this issue was there, we were working quite hard to fix it behind the scenes, but it refused to fix, as the forum software's control panel that is specifically made for admins was also broken. Meanwhile, we were giving updates to the users on our Twitter and FB pages - whenever the sites are not working, we try to keep the users updated through our Twitter and FB pages and request everyone to follow them whenever possible. Finally, after days of hard work, we were finally be able to fix this issue. As we believed, the issue was in the forum software itself and not in the server. To fix this issue, we had to first fix the the forum software's control panel for the admins, then we had to fix the forums themes - which was a different issue altogether as the themes were broken too - something we could not fix as we earlier had no access to themes. Then we had to transfer all the users to the fixed theme again. Doing all this brought the nsane.forums and hence also nsane.down back online. Due to this. All the users of the nsane.forums are transferred back to the plain theme the all the additional themes and plugins disabled. Please be patient while be bring the forums to it's original glory again. We again apologize for all the time that has been lost to due to this issues. Something that we understand cannot be brought back. But we assure you, we were not sitting empty handed and were doing all we could possibly do to fix this issue. We ourselves are overjoyed to have this community and the site back.
