For filehost sites like uptobox, filefactory its shows this message

Server not found

Firefox can't find the server at uptobox.com.

Check the address for typing errors such as ww.example.com instead of www.example.com
If you are unable to load any pages, check your computer's network connection.
If your computer or network is protected by a firewall or proxy, make sure that Firefox is permitted to access the Web.

WTF, is this happening...

i have not installed anything from week... just done 3 days back an window update < micro windows malicious removal tool>,use wise disk cleaner, wise registry cleaner,IDM Patch and that portable WinASO Registry Optimizer 5.2.0 of baltagy. < i feel/doubt on these wise products>

I scan,my whole pc with every type of virus, trojan, malware scanner.. nothing found

Good that nsane is opening...as for now

Try to change your DNS server to Google DNS from router settings :

http://192.168.1.1/

Also clear browser history and reset browser setting.

Do you know your router password ? btw which modem you are using ?

Google DNS Server :

8.8.8.8

8.8.4.4

Close Firefox & open your Firefox profiles folder & delete cert8.

Restart Firefox.( Firefox will create new cert8.)

What security software are you running?

Are you running Adguard desktop version?

If your security software have HTTPS/SSL scan, try disabling & check.

Try disabling Adguard HTTPS/SSL filtering & check.

Are you able to access those websites via VPN (Cyberghost VPN or other) ? You can also try to access those websites with zenmate extension

Wait, you mean to say you need to visit other sites other than nsane. :P

Seems more like an ISP problem to me. Or maybe an HTTPS one. All the sites you have mentioned are HTTPS, except Uptobox, which is blocked by government level here.

I will not recommend using the software you have mentioned either. Sometimes not using them is better.

If nothing works then you can try this. However, very carefully, only select Repair Network in it.

Why, if it is almost four months to know, that Firefox server shares faulty website certificates. Is needed simply install the right ones and everything works.

As others have mentioned, the problem is ESET, when you enable SSL scanning it tries to inject a root certificate into your browsers, sometimes it fails and you have to first export the certificate from ESET then manually import into the browser. Follow these steps and see if they work for you. http://support.eset.com/kb3126/?&page=content&id=SOLN3126&viewlocale=en_US

Your so called registry cleaners may have screwed up some of your settings and unregistered some necessary dlls.

Try this.

Open an administrator command prompt, copy and paste each line in it and run it.

regsvr32 urlmon.dll
regsvr32 wintrust.dll
regsvr32 initpki.dll
regsvr32 dssenh.dll
regsvr32 rsaenh.dll
regsvr32 gpkcsp.dll
regsvr32 sccbase.dll
regsvr32 slbcsp.dll
regsvr32 cryptdlg.dll
regsvr32 shdocvw.dll
regsvr32 mshtml.dll
regsvr32 browseui.dll
regsvr32 jscript.dll
regsvr32 vbscript.dll
regsvr32 oleaut32.dll
regsvr32 softpub.dll
regsvr32 actxprxy.dll

I had exactly the same thing the other day, my network connections were open dns so I reset those to automatic and even though my date and time was correct, I changed them and then changed them back, opened up firefox and everything was working again

Give it a try, trust me.

Hi @truemateif you has installed ESET Smart Security v9, then it's the origin for alls this problems, I have had this same issue, then uninstalled Smart Security, deleted registers, NOD32 folders, temps files and voila, now alls is working very good, I prefer ESET SS v8, its much better and less intrusive with browsers configs.

had the same problem I had to choose between eset ssl filtering and adguard ssl filtering I have opted for adguard ssl filtering by enabling adguard ssl filtering and disabled eset ssl filtering the eset version doesn't play any role for that matter.
