LibreOffice 5.1.4 Office Suite Now Available for Download with over 130 Bugfixes

Today, June 23, 2016, The Document Foundation's Italo Vignoli has been happy to inform about the immediate availability for download of the LibreOffice 5.1.4 "Fresh" open-source office suite.

LibreOffice 5.1.4 is the fourth maintenance release in the latest stable series of the open-source and cross-platform office suite used in numerous GNU/Linux operating systems, but also available for Windows and Mac users who want to use a free alternative to similar yet commercial offerings.

Like the LibreOffice 5.0 long-term supported branch, which The Document Foundation recommends for deployments in large-scale organizations or enterprises that are looking for a solution to save money on their office budget, LibreOffice 5.1 office suite is aimed at individual users and enterprise deployments.

"For enterprise deployments, The Document Foundation suggests the backing of professional support by certified developers, migrators and trainers (the full list is available at: http://www.libreoffice.org/get-help/professional-support/)," says Italo Vignoli in today's release announcement.

Over 130 issues have been resolved in LibreOffice 5.1.4

If you're wondering what's new in the LibreOffice 5.1.4 release, we can tell you that, according to the changelogs of the first and second Release Candidate builds that were offered during its short, one-month development cycle, it looks like a total of 133 issues reported by users since LibreOffice 5.1.3 have been addressed for all of the office suite's core components.
