Batu69
The Windows team takes some time off during the holidays The Windows 10 for PC and mobile builds that Microsoft rolled out earlier this week are the last of the year, as the Windows team will take some time off during the holidays and won’t push any updates until January. Gabriel Aul, head of the Windows Insider team, confirmed in a post that new builds would only arrive in 2016 when the company is expected to speed up the release and provide users with more updates for both PC and mobile. “I also want to set expectations for new builds for both PC and mobile between now and the end of 2015,” Gabe Aul explained. “This time of year many of us take the opportunity to spend time with family and take some vacation time, so the engineering team will be running at a slower pace and many of our key people who drive our flighting process will be out (including me). This means we won’t be releasing any new builds to Windows Insiders until January, for both PC and mobile.” A faster “Fast” ring for Windows insiders While some might not be happy to hear that no builds would be coming until the end of the year, it’s worth noting that Microsoft is planning to accelerate the release cadence in early 2016 and provide members enrolled in the fast ring with updates at a much faster pace. Aul explained earlier this week that the team is aiming to provide insiders with builds that are very similar to the ones that are being tested internally, which obviously increases the possibility of coming across critical bugs and issues dramatically impacting performance. This isn’t the first time when Microsoft actually promises to release builds at a faster pace, but this time, Aul guaranteed that both PCs and mobile devices will be updated more often, so get ready for a busy start of the year if you are part of the insider program. Karlston
The Windows team is probably too busy working out how to silently force Windows 10 onto Windows 7 and 8.1 PC's, and in such a way that prevents them reverting back. That's about the only despicable thing left for the desperate Microsoft bullies, everything else has been tried, but those pesky stubborn users who still (according to Microsoft) misguidedly believe their PC, upgrade decisions, storage, data, and bandwidth is theirs, still find ways to stop the upgrades.
