There was a post on Slashdot last year that showed with all the telemetry blocking in place, Windows 10 still made 4000 connections to 93 servers at Microsoft in 8 hours.  And this was even true of the Enterprise version which isn't supposed to make these connections at all when turned off.  Unfortunately the connection information is encrypted/encoded into Windows 10 so there is no easy way to see it or to tell when it changes unless you have a firewall monitoring it continuously and have hours of free time in which to peruse the logs.

Believe me dude, I'm probably more frustrated than anyone it took so long but I'm not slacking off. Development on v1.0 started before the last 2 available versions were released and it will show once it's out.
You have to understand that I'm relatively young with 0% of my shit together. I just got my first real adult job and I'm barely starting to build some sort of life for myself. I never really intended to have people rely on my software, it was supposed to be a personal hobby that I could use to learn more.
But after so many people wrote to me, some I even met in person, I guess I have a responsibility now
I wish I could show you just how many sleepless nights and how many sacrifices had to be made to keep this going. Just take my word for it, I'm not leaving you hanging.

It doesnt add any ips to the host as it claimed to do so .....i choose "firewall" option 1 to install it.... any idea why ?
