steven36
Patch update 3 not working, still got nag screenWorking here I set my clock up some months and checked for updates and rebooted still works .On my PC, it's working fine, I never got that nag screenBut my friend has this problem, I send him this patch but after 5 mins, the nag screen appearsUpdate 3 It works for me even though it misses a pattern for IDMan.exe .. still it patches IDMGrHlp.exe good so you could take IDMan.exe and delete it and change IDMan.exe.BAK to IDMan.exe and patch with update 5 to get a tighter pattern . ghost needs to update his patch . IDMGrHlp.exe updated in Feb they put the check back in it so it has to be patched or after so long idm will nag . I tested with my clock set up and checked for updates no nag works fine just using update 3 nothing else.

It works with any patchit could matter in some cases if they fixed it not to give high Cpu . Old ones known to give some problems.IDMan.exe of IDMGrhlp.exe process uses a lot of computer's CPU (or memory). steven36
Waiting for new patch from Ghost :)well update 3 is still working fine here but I can just undo the backups and switch to no crack at all I got my FW switched to allow IDM I can easy switch it back to block ips. Here's a tip if your havering problems after patching still try to uninstall it real good and reinstall ... because your registry is most likely already contaminated from patching before. I don't have no problem with update 3 on my system .

steven36
it could matter in some cases if they fixed it not to give high Cpu . Old ones known to give some problems.IDMan.exe of IDMGrhlp.exe process uses a lot of computer's CPU (or memory). How to stop it?http://www.internetdownloadmanager.com/register/new_faq/problems11.htmlIDMGrhlp.exe is not in processDid you read what that said? The problem may be caused by conflicts between IDM and other applications. It can be some FireWall/Antivirus/InternetSecurity application for example, which controls all network traffic and all disk activity. When IDM wants to read/write any data, security programs first pass all data through their internal buffers where they scan data for possible viruses. This way they always go-between IDM and real file on hard drive two times (for read and write processes) and can slow down the whole procedure greatly. Please check your settings in such applications and try to add IDM in the exceptions list if they have some. Also note that IDM cannot in any way bypass a security program when downloading or saving files, and this problem does not depend on IDM. Maybe you have some application that has such function and you do not even know about it. Also, please note that some Antiviruses and other security applications keep controlling everything even if you disable them because they still have their drivers in memory which do this job in background. This why, you need to uninstall them TEMPORARY, restart your computer and check if problem becomes any better. If it is solved, then problem is definitely caused by that application. You can try to contact its developers and ask them for solution or try some other FireWall/Antivirus/Internet security application. If it does not help, look for another application on your computer. It may have something like "Security", "Protector", "Defender", "Spyware Remover" or "Cleaner" in its name. A lot versions they fix bugs and if bugs was fixed in that and use old you still have the old bugs.http://www.internetdownloadmanager.com/news.htmlhttp://www.internetdownloadmanager.com/news.html
