I appreciate that, but I don't think activator will work on every PC since I tested only on a fresh Windows 10

IMO as long as IDM able to call home than there's a risk the activation will fail

Still blocking the IPs or Trial Reset as my best choices ;)

@DUK C , yep, for me you really need to combine it with a FWB to prevent calling home and prevent blocklisting even with legit key , i am using the cidr method using WFW tilll now. This is only if you dont wanna patch the exe. But what i noticed in my system, if you used a legit key, Visual protect key doesnt recur after all preventive steps have been done such as Resetting and cleaning IDM registry then do the FWB. It continues to function so well even updating it to latest version.

Activator from kien i tried in earlier version before , it works in windows 8.1, but i havent tested it on windows 10 recently as i am using currently a combination of IDM< cleaner , inputting a valid serial ( re-usedd by 3 pc already) then do the FWB. Nil for any issues.

I used to block IPs for all programs, not only for specified program, so I never include the specified program (the string in red color)

In this way, all program(s) in my system will not able to communicate with the specified IPs (no connection without my concern),

and I don't have to create 2 reg files (I noticed that your reg file for x64).

@DCabul regarding blocking IPS as specified 'red color' , well it all depends on the user preference on how he wants it but point point well taken. Regarding creation of the 2 regfiles, the one i posted is X64 and not for X86, true however, i dont see any problems converting that one.

Addendum:

- You can still re used blocklisted legit keys issued by IDM as long as you setup first FWB ( IP range or CIDR method).

- Then enter the blocklisted keys and information normally in the registration box offline mode while IDM process not running. Then refresh registry re-open back IDM program. It will stay registered and accept the blocklisted keys. Restarted and stays the same.

note 10/2015: IDM license faker 2.0 now tested on windows 10, here is result:

WORKING: Windows xp 32bit, Windows 7 32bit, Windows 8.1 32bit, Windows 10 32bit, Windows xp 64bit , Windows 8.1 64bit.

NOT WORKING: Windows 7 64bit, Windows 10 64bit.

so dont try on not working os//.

-> on some machine if you got nag fake serial. Open registry editor and search for CLSID key with this data:

"cDTvBFquXk0eIdrOHzdfcp8G98DM5qPhs++YcVi8JRaz75hxWLwlFrPvmHFYvCUWs++YcVi8JRaz75hxWLwlFg==" (the key is different depend on other machine)

then block it with registry permission (only for advanced users

). now everything should working fine!.

I have my working CRACK for IDM without any tricks to prevent from being blacklisted (e.g. hosts and FW blocking)
