Our blocking is just a one-time process which usually lasts for years, without any further User intervention — you'll need to repeat your activation process on every upgrade . . . isn't it?

 

As a SysAdmin, I manage hundreds of client-machines — just imagine how many man-hours would get expended in deployments. :)

Yes i understand but as this fix was so simple i wont take more than 1 minute to patch it in every version

Also, when the Developers make changes . . . . . especially the time-bomb mutation kind which was used in this particular release, it's the Users of the firewall method who would be the very first ones to realize that something is fishy. ;)
