Adguard Premium is now 2.12.233

WHAT'S NEW

Nobody likes to roll out a hotfix just a week after the release, but sometimes there’s no other choice. We took this opportunity to not only fix the problem but also to update the CoreLibs filtering engine and make a handful of other useful changes. This is a necessary RC, tomorrow we will pull the trigger on the automatic update.

[Fixed] AdGuard does not restart after auto-pause on older Android devices

Turned out, on some older devices (Android 6 and older) AdGuard didn't restart after the protection got paused automatically (say, on the network state change). This affected a large enough portion of AdGuard users to justify an immediate update.

Other
[Changed] Localizations has been updated
[Fixed] An error occurring during the license activation
[Fixed] Expiring certificate issue on 32-bit Android devices
[Improved] CoreLibs has been upgraded to 1.1.53

Many thanks ! &  I'll do the discussions here .. & can you please make a tutorial for Tasker ?

&

Unfortunately, today, to my surprise, my wifi router showed no Internet connection !

So I checked the status of my connection and it showed an APIPA IP address instead of my LAN IP address !

I tried to access my router admin console with its IP address on my browser, but wasn't successful : (

So I had to reset my router : ( & do the configurations all over again : (

But why did it happen ?

PS: there was multiple & generous amounts of power outages yesterday !

It won't work at all: there are different subnets. It happened that because the dhcp server of router is not available or it does not work properly.
In this case the simplest ways are to power-off then power-on of the router & restart the computer.

Also you should have checked also if the dhcp server works for wired network.

That requires lot of work, indeed!

I have to do it also sometime, the worst thing is to redefine the rules for firewall: I have almost 40 rules there for my different devices such as ip cameras, printers, smart tv(s), NAS devices..etc.

But here I have learned an important lesson: to backup the settings every time!

Maybe you should do the same: check your router to see if permits settings export, too! Most of routers have such options.

Hard to say, check the router's logs. Maybe you provided yourself the answer with the following information:

It is always good to protect your devices, network equipments, etc.  with an AVR (voltage regulator)

Wish you good luck! ;)

@dcs18

Going to migrate the IP(s) for IDM from Adguard to Comodo Firewall, for test, at least for the beginning.
How I can see there isn't an option to create only a single rule with all of them, and I should add the ip(s) one by one. Wl2LIwk.gif

Am I wrong?

Thanks for reply, Man! ;)

How are you finding the COMODO Firewall in comparison to Windows 10 Firewall Control? ^_^

Much better! :secret:

Never met the word hijack yet into Comodo Firewall! :P

In the meantime I have migrated the IP(s) for IDM from Adguard to Comodo Firewall.

I have created the rule only for app. Remember I saw here in the past a configuration with a Global Rule made by @masterupc if I remember well. There are so many posts here, so it is quite hard for me to find it right now.

I preferred to make in this way in order to get the download well for latest version through browser in the future without deactivating the rule.

Removed the rules from Adguard.
Everything is fine with it:

Only a little issue: I need to put my Logitech G703 mice to recharge after creating the rules 🤣

I will post any updates about Comodo Firewall further, if there will be any.

I need to take a break, I will not be here so frequently: I have to solve a health issue!:dunno:

Wish you good luck in all your projects, Guys! ;)

Sir, In this query, I was referring to the wired network only.

Sir, after the incident, I reconfigured and  did a backup.

But why did this happen now ? It never happened on the stock firmware !

Why is it happening now that I have DDWRT ? why did it not save all the settings in its secondary memory ?

Do I actually not know how to configure ddwrt ?

Log Management was disabled by default, now I enabled it !

I have a UPS, is it not sufficient ?

 : )

Many Thanks !
