rudrax
OK, sweet - you have a PM.So it's gone. I did the factory reset then the phone restarted itself. After restarting, it stuck in the Asus logo forever. I have waited almost 3 hours since morning thinking it may take time. But nothing happened it just stuck in there. rudrax
Entering "recovery" that way, I got just a android logo with a exclamation mark and below that "No command" is written.I searched google a bit and found that with the combination of volume keys I can get to the recovery menu. I found the menu. The options are as below:1. Reboot system now2. Apply update from ADB3. Wipe data/factory reset4. Wipe cache partition.I tried 1 and 3 method. In method 1 after restarting stucks in same boot logo. In method 3 after pressing yes, it stars loading some command lines in yellow color and the final command line is as shown below:E:Can't open /tmp/update_script.logand shows the recovery menu again.I haven't tried method 2 and 4 as I don't know what are they. If lollipop fails I will download the default firmware with which the phones has shipped to me.One question, during the ADB flash I need to do that via command prompt in windows right. So how I need to run the command prompt - "Simple" or "as administrator"?

rudrax
The failed but the hope is still on. After the error it says that "you must have kitkat 4.4.2 xxxx to upgrade to android lollipop". And in the asus download center while downloading the lollipop package it was written that I must have firmware 2.22.xx.xxxx in order to be able to update to lollipop. But I currently have firmware 2.21.xx.xxxx.Now I'm downloading the firmware 2.22.xx.xxxx to flash with ADB.BTW, I have successfully updated my bro's phone to lollipop.
