Does anyone know if any of the IPs by IDM have been changed just from last night?

I followed the Windows Firewall example to the "T", ran a IDM registry cleaner bat file found around here, and inputted a fake generated serial into the program registration box. IDM is currently technically working for me but I'm getting fake serial message popup boxes coming up every so often.

Okay thanks. I went to check my daily firewall (Comodo Firewall Standalone) and saw there a previous set 'Application Rule' for "IDMan.exe" so deleted it. Then after starting IDM back up my Comodo Firewall asked to allow Internet access for "IDMan.exe" again and I blocked it. I now haven't seen any fake serial messages since.

I updated the IDM registry cleaner .bat file that was provided here by iih1. I've added a few more removal instances of other IDM fake serial leftover locations. Now the following .bat file should remove ALL instances of IDM fake serial leftovers in the registry.

1) Copy all the code and paste it into a 'New Text Document'

2) Simply save it as "New Text Document.txt"

3) Rename the file "New Text Document.txt" to "IDM Cleaner.bat"

4) Run "IDM Cleaner.bat" as Administrator

The following Command Prompt window will pop up and automatically run thru the IDM registry cleaning process.

After IDM registry cleaning is complete, follow the instructions here in the 1st post and block ALL the IDM IPs via a firewall.

Once you block all IDM IPs via a firewall you can then run IDM and register with a fake serial.

Enjoy a fully activated IDM without the need to use unknown patches or modify any program or system files!

I think the only thing I use would be Netlimiter, not too sure if its functionality is similar to a firewall. Sorry, but if that counts as one then I'll test it out when I get home from work. I've tried a lot to block IDM dial home via bit defender 2014/2015 but failed. so i turned off bit defender firewall and enable windows fire wall and it work great B)

I didn't formatted that in windows. I have inserted that card in windows to scan for virus. When AV couldn't scan that, then I tried to format. I can access data in that SD card without any problem, just can't modify anything in it.

And what about this?

@dcs18, I have inserted those files in the installed directory of forensic and the 'Lite' tag from the title is removed. But whenever I connect a phone, it opens only in 'read-only' mode which means I can't modify anything there.

Sometime back i remember a user asking for the 'New Fix' to be applied on Eset

Well i thought of installing NOD32 on my system and i wanna employ this technique to it.

but i need some help:

1)does, even in the full version, it shows activate ur product like in this pic

2)can eset updates be dowloaded offline like we have for other AVs (also whether the source is official/unofficial)

3)if i advance the date in my system and my bios will it be enuff to check whether the product is working after the specified date?
